That's a book of ghost stories, if I'm not mistaken. Or a game.

I think the title translates to "One hundred gathered ghost stories" Or something like that.

Which was used by samurai to test their braveryand eventually became popular as a game in the mainstream. Companies looked all over Japan and China for ghost stories to publish for the game.

Yay, I was kinda right about "desu", haha
"Suddenly Frodo noticed that a strange-looking weather-beaten man, sitting in the shadows near the wall, was also listening intently to the hobbit-talk. He had a tall tankard in front of him, and was smoking a long-stemmed pipe curiously carved. His legs were stretched out before him, showing high boots of supple leather that fitted him well, but had seen much wear and were now caked with mud. A travel-stained cloak of heavy dark-green cloth was drawn close about him, and in spite of the heat of the room he wore a hood that overshadowed his face; but the gleam of his eyes could be seen as he watched the hobbits."

Real women can't even compete.

And then they blame the men for it, kinda like shooting one's self in the foot, they're clearly outmatched it's no one's fault.

Don't have balls to be hit in. Unless you're talking tits.

I did get ridiculed by my significant other every time I screwed up, though. He kept making faces at me, too, trying to mess me up.

But do they normally say it that fast? What comes into my mind with that word is bath scenes and they don't say it fast at all then.

I've never heard it conjugated all together without it being done fast...'cause it's a challenging tongue twister. That said, I've only ever heard it conjugated all together in lessons...

Also, Whatis...I forgot. I should have said I don't have any 金玉, I have 胸. ^_~

It's kind of a crude translation but oh well, it's close enough for me to understand. rikaikun FTW.

I remember trying to learn Japanese way back in Junior High, renting self help stuff. But it all never stuck. Learning new languages have always been hard for me. I listen to a lot of Japanese, but only right now do I understand about 5% of the words I hear. Always wanted to take more classes to actually learn my stuff. Knowing I can watch RAW videos would be pleasant, and in the future I want to do actual overseas business and know the language.

Part of why I decided to actually learn is because I got into wearing kimono...and the best places to buy them secondhand are all in Japanese...so...Want something bad enough, right? ^_^

Exactly. Makes perfect sense. Always been told the fastest way t learn a culture's language is to live there. But... living in Japan where I have zero relatives and not enough money to get there, let alone make a living is far out of my range as an option.
