which would be worse?

Sat Mar 02, 2013 3:03 am

on one hand only you remember an event that happened in your life but everyone else involved forgets so you wonder if it even happened, but on the other everyone else remembers something you don't so you wonder if they're messing with you or if you've really forgotten

I think it would be worse to remember something everyone else has forgotten, if only you remember something it must feel pretty lonely because you have no one to talk to about it with since no one else remembers.

To be alone with a thought all your own or be together without a thought at all...

I feel the latter to be much worse. That feeling that your mind couldn't hold something everyone else could. It was such a simple thing apparently that everyone else can remember and share it, like that one in-joke, but you're left out for some reason. Maybe your back was turned when it was happening, or it just didn't register at the time. Now everyone is having a laugh and you're just there... Smiling awkwardly...

Well, the second thing happens to me all the time so it doesn't even bother me anymore.
Guess I'll have to go with the first thing.

First one always happens anyways, so might as well go with the second one.

I would say the 1st one. It's normal for me to forget something while everyone remembers it, but remembering something everyone's forgotten, like a regret or a mistake noone wants to mention, is really uncomfortable.

The first one, in particular I'm thinking of old grudges. I just can't seem to forget about them most of the time even if I end up on good terms with the person later on.

Number 1 because you feel crazy.

Te second probably, i feel like with the first at least you know the truth while other people face away from it so thats kinda cool

The first, because then people would think you were insane.

Honestly, it would be terrible, and I personally already have too many people thinking I'm crazy.

only some people think a person is insane. there is no uniformity to the notion. i think remembering something would eventually - even if you died before it happened - as long as it was the truth, help people out.

The second.
My friends forget shit all the time, so it's normal. I hate it when I forget things, especially things I shouldn't have forgotten.
