Re: happy Valhallentine's Day Everyone

Today was pretty decent, actually. I mean, I worked, but I got to talk to some cool people and, by the graces of the universe, got to hang out with this girl that comes into the theater a lot.

Apparently my friend's girlfriend is friends with her and I got home from work and THEY WERE HANGING OUT and my jaw almost dropped to the floor because I was so shocked.

We played Pokemon and New Super Mario Bros. and it was pretty cool.

Didn't you have a girlfriend recently?
Is Valentine's really for love or is it just the biggest excuse for break-ups? 'Cause I saw plenty yesterday.

I try to avoid it, I find it depressing.

That's a cuter concept, considering Valentine's Day as one of friendship as opposed to one of "celebrating that I have a boy/girlfriend and you don't"/"FOREVER ALONE" and stuff.

So uncalled for

What, there are a number of people who use Valentines Day as a way of flaunting their "successful" love life. It's especially bad in some settings where it's the norm to get gift deliveries and even worse when one of those deliveries is a prank.

Or are you reading it differently and saying Stuff is forever alone?

I had a date on Valentine's Day for the second time in my life, and its not something I flaunted.

The people that do are pretty damn insecure.

I think I was trying to say that it's unnecessary for people to rub it in that they have something, but also that it's getting really old to hear people constantly complain about couples on Valentines day.

Oh, so you were agreeing with me, then? :o
'Cause it sorta looked like you were calling me out for saying that, and I think Whatis read it that way, too.

But yeah, I've been getting pretty tired of hearing those sorts of things every Valentine's Day, be it people showing off that they're in a relationship, or people complaining about couples and Valentine's Day as a whole. Where I live, it's mostly the later--practically everyone around me at school complains about Valentine's Day and have this overal sour-grapes attitude about it, and idk, I kinda feel like it shouldn't be all that big of a deal? It's just a silly day to give friends and loved ones cheesy cards and tons of chocolate, personally. :U

Speaking of, I'm still in need of chocolate. =u=

Here the concept of gifting chocolate is ridiculous.

Yup.

No. You got rejected. Friend-zoning only happens to pathetic people who can't handle rejection.

I got my ex-girlfriend back from the ordeal... I'm... still conflicted... But I think it was a good V-day for me because of it.

Re: happy Valhallentine's Day Everyone

Sun Feb 17, 2013 5:17 am

...do you even LIKE your ex-girlfriend?

Re: happy Valhallentine's Day Everyone

Sun Feb 17, 2013 5:34 am

Ya, like, did you want his to happen or not?

Re: happy Valhallentine's Day Everyone

Sun Feb 17, 2013 5:42 am

I'm conflicted because she dumped me pretty hard last time and I was devastated... But we've been sweethearts since the beginning of high school, and I still love her. It's just this kind of "I don't want to be hurt again, but I still have feelings for her and she's all over me" feeling.

*shrug*

Just beware of the fact that she might be using that fact that you still have those strong feelings for her
