Someone here I don't remember said that with every bone of his body and he either left forever or got banned. Whichever one.

Out of sarcasm though, I don't think the stories' story sucks. After all, the only thing that would keep me going back would be pretty colors otherwise. Sure, Sugar Bits has a terrible story that is based on evil gumballs and a never-ending battle with a writer who has ABSOLUTELY NO IDEA how to pace his stories, but Grim Tales in my opinion? Its major strength is in its story. The art is good too, but the story is where it got good.

PPGD's strength, I would be blind if I didn't say it was in the characters. The entire comic was/is a nostalgia Cash-In and very little more past that. If nothing else it has a lot of running gags that give it some personality.

As for the reason I stay on this site- seeing as though people from 09 and 10 are participating, my date counts: I have too much invested in this site to leave. Besides, from this site I learned a lot of literary techniques and some of my work is borderline decent. But yeah, three years of turmoil, hard work, experimentation and outright procrastination here leaves it impossible for me to leave without a shade looming over me telling me I wasted the last three years.

And shit, I almost managed to land a writing job with Stan before he ran into major economic trouble and never came back to Snafu. I COULD HAVE HAD MY OWN COMIC! Potential like that helps me stay here a lot.

The more likely alternative to me leaving would be getting banned; so I'm literally going to stay here until people kick me out. Here's to one more year! Besides, even if I do get kicked out, all of the techniques I picked up will follow me outside these walls. Either way, this site helped me a lot. I try to give back any way I can.

The Chronometal Wars, a fan-fiction taking place in the PPGD Universe. Catastrophe is the only certainty.

PPGD was rge first ever comic that brought and led me into discovering SNAFU in the first place, but I didn't see it as a site worth remembering until I started investing a little more time on reading Grim Tales (emphasis on little). It took a whole solid year before I actually bothered entering the forums.

There wasn't much here at first, other than me making sporadic postsand being a complete noob (kissing asses included). I left often for lengthy amounts of time, this was mostly because the RP forum was the only place requiring any dedication on my part at the time. But for some reason, I'd walk back in and started posting again.

I like SNAFU because of the people and the 'experience' it packs together. I've legitimately come to laugh, and even feel a certain bond with this little part of the Internet. Spam not withstanding, this is provably the most tolerable shithole you can find in order to pour out everything that's on your mind.
