She has the same plan for a few forum members.

Radaghast is obviously the Santa of Middle-Earth. He leaves Hobbits weed, Dwarves gold, Elves hair dye, Men wigs, and Gollum gets fake rings. : D

That'd explain how Middle-Earth became England.

I think we're gonna need a confirmation on that from Grey and/or Doctress, but it sounds promising.

The dungeon run they had in the goblin kingdom put strain on my eyes.

Did you see it in 3D 48 fps?
Thu Dec 20, 2012 11:31 am
Couldn't. Fully booked.
Thu Dec 20, 2012 1:59 pm
Then I guess you saw it normal with 24 fps. I dunno if they made it clear where you are but here they had on the ticket 24fps or 48fps.
Thu Dec 20, 2012 2:00 pm
48 is amazing.
Thu Dec 20, 2012 2:10 pm
It really is. My friend was saying it was making him sick whenever they would pan over or something.
But he was also hiding in his hoodie smoking pot for the first thirty minutes of the movie.

Quick question to everyone that watched the movie. With 3D or without?
I'm thinking without.
Thu Dec 20, 2012 2:18 pm
It was fine without. I keep hearing the 3D looked like it was added after sooo.
Thu Dec 20, 2012 2:53 pm
I've always agreed with Roger Ebert's opinion that 3D is largely not worth it and is really just a more expensive gimmick. I prefer to watch my films in 2D.
Thu Dec 20, 2012 3:27 pm
Anyone see it in 48fps, that's what I'm most interested in and whether or not it was actually a good choice.
Thu Dec 20, 2012 8:12 pm
And... I ended up not seeing the movie. I expected to have back row seats available a week later, there weren't any.

Yes, but I hadn't seen it yet. There could have been the possibility of a change of heart.

My dad saw it in 3D with the 48 fps and said it was amazing, like it felt as though you were sitting with the characters.

And it was fucking amazing.

But I've heard that is also it's undoing because it ruins some of the smoke and mirrors.
Thu Dec 20, 2012 9:27 pm
I've heard that too, but he didn't mention that was the case for him.
Anyhow, my friends and I are going tomorrow to see it and I said we were gonna see it in 2D and he gave me money and said I HAD to see it in 3D, haha
Thu Dec 20, 2012 9:33 pm
watch lord of the rings in HD and you can see some of the ends of the orc's facial prosthetics
Thu Dec 20, 2012 10:25 pm
I just watched it because I watched the trilogy at the cinema.
But I wasn't going to pay for 3D anyway.
