I show my traitorous ways by subconsciously finding British spellings more correct-looking, like travelling, signalling, grey, blonde, etc

sometimes superfluous u's find their way into words they were taken out of as well, even when I'm hand writing notes for class which is really weird. I re-read them later and see that I wrote something like "harbour" instead of "harbor" and yeah
