To be honest yog i don't think you should plan on going to south america yet. I'd be more happy for you if you first got to see your own country before attempting something more large-scale. I don't even quite remember if you know spanish or not.

I was born in Panama. My mother and her family is from El Salvador.

Of course I know spanish.

Anyway, like I said, me going this year is still up in the air, due to money.

Next year at least, is for sure.

Alright, alright. I just have fond memories of that place.

I've not really done much traveling. I've just gone to basically bordering states (Oregon, Nevada, Hawaii in a way) once or twice, Florida when I was like 2 or 3 though. I have a passport however nothing's come of it though I could be in Mexico in a few hours. I go to LA or San Diego on occasion. I was going to see about going to San Francisco but my friend hasn't gotten back to me yet on that, so now having a flight around Christmas would be no good.

Re: Traveling Thread

I've travelled quite a bit, although not much within North America, besides small islands near me and Toronto, Seattle, and San Francisco a couple times.

I like that Pike Market place in Seattle.

I usually find all sorts of cool shit there.

Re: Traveling Thread

I don't think I've actually been there. I've been to the gum wall, and the Experience Music Project a couple times

Ya, it was quite nifty. I went when they had a Jimi Hendrix exhibit.

Nice.

In the Pike Place Market, I remember buying a bunch of old books that are like gone from everywhere else.

On one trip, I was lucky enough to find a complete collection of the Animorphs series.

Have no idea why I still love them. But I do. It was one of my childhood fixations.

Never have.

Really want to.

Very expensive.

Re: Traveling Thread

Like, goddamn.

So that's why I'm worried when it comes to budget.

Anyway, since my plan is sort of set, for the time being, anyone want to share some nice stories of their times abroad?

Re: Traveling Thread

I'm planning a very long trip with my friend Phoebe, to pretty much leave from Philly and hit every place we've ever wanted to go to.

Obviously, I have a lot of saving to do.
