Yup, it sure is.
"Suddenly Frodo noticed that a strange-looking weather-beaten man, sitting in the shadows near the wall, was also listening intently to the hobbit-talk. He had a tall tankard in front of him, and was smoking a long-stemmed pipe curiously carved. His legs were stretched out before him, showing high boots of supple leather that fitted him well, but had seen much wear and were now caked with mud. A travel-stained cloak of heavy dark-green cloth was drawn close about him, and in spite of the heat of the room he wore a hood that overshadowed his face; but the gleam of his eyes could be seen as he watched the hobbits."

Remember that friend i talked about yesterday that wanted me to escort her? It seems this new "dealer" got scared that wed wanted a big order and pussed out. Tomorrow we were planning to bake a stoner cake and now the party is ruined. Worse of all is that she made a facebook event about it and most people who are going don't know the dealer pussed out at the last minute.

I'm going to try and save HER face by buying some more whisky and hoping they settle with drinks.
But man i'm bummed out. I was hoping to have weed by tomorrow and now i'll have to wait an indefinite amount of time until the mama bear of our group aids us by throwing us a bone and giving us a contact, or until my plants mature.

I know you're not, I'm just wondering now what made it bad for you, and feeling a bit wary of the game now

The "game" aspects of it are as good as ever if a bit watered due to both the setting, the location, the story, the main character, and how it all felt more like playing an interactive version of encarta: american colonies edition rather than the truly jawdropping beauty that was asscreed 2 and it's various spawns, but again, that's just me.

It seems ubisoft got a bit too much into the "realistic" historical aspects and forgot that the reason people play games is not so much because they're real but because they are NOT real. It felt, idk, a bit too much like a game made by my global history teacher and the more i played it the more it felt like it.

Or maybe i just have a general dislike for american things.

Ya, AC2 was beautiful, that's true. I don't like American things that much either, but I really like history, so I'm still enjoying it so far. That being said I'm still relatively close to the beginning of the story, so maybe my opinion will change. I like how they handled the muskets and pistols

I haven't played AS2 in a while but I remember the combat was less of a chaotic clusterfuck.
Also the notoriety thing in this entry is a little out of control, simply walking by a few redcoats under a level 1 notoriety results in having 10 of them on your ass...it doesn't help that there are Redcoats almost every corner which only results in a bigger mob chasing you.

I think I've mentioned this before but the wolves in this game are on fucking steriods. They deal more damage then any other animal AND human in the game, it honestly makes me wish I can wear armor in the game...that won't break.
Actually, armor would actually be VERY useful in this game. You can upgrade your attack power, why not your damage resistance?

And food items, WHY did they remove being able to heal themselves during combat?

Hmm, the animals haven't really been giving me too much trouble, personally.

The no healing thing is quite annoying though

Oh thank god winter's ended.

I do like how the "enemies fall into a body of water=instant death" is in the series.

Well, this really grinds my gears. I ended up with my arm hurting from time to time because of that.

I went to a mental health clinic for two months.

It fixed me up, yup.

I'm at the top of the world.

Life has been sort of weird. I've been trying to get up a motivation to try for college, but I've been psyching myself out.

Maybe in a few years from now.

But other than that, I'm happy.

How about you?

Finished my course a few months back, and I was bitter for a while from some stuff.
I spent most of the rest of last year and my birthday after my finals with some of the few most notable people in my life.
After that, I flew into China around a week before Christmas to visit my dad.

A few unexpected things happened on the day I got here.

Spent most of my time with family since then, and I've been feeling better since New Years.
Also gained some weight since then (went from 80 to a solid 90 :I), and I plan on fixing myself up when I get back in another week.

I'd give advice on deciding to take up college, but I haven't even been able to access my own results past the Chinese firewall. :c
In all honesty, I'm not in my best of states as a person at this moment but I'm definitely getting better.

I'm kinda surprised, and happy for you at the moment, but any other response I can make will probably end up being redundant so Ima leave it at "Awesome."

Feels nice to talk to people here again. :O
