I don't think PS3 has the processing power to run a game like Skyrim.

Also, Bethesda still has no clue how to properly dev or port for it. I haven't heard of a company having so many problems since 2008.

Fuck, even their PC games have massive, debilitating problems and they still can't get NPC AI right.

I never play these games with mods. I never find any that aren't like "NUDE GIRL MOD" or just game-breaking weapons or items.

That's because Skyrim mods are shit.

Go and check out Fallout Nexus and New Vegas Nexus. That's beautiful, alright.

If I wasn't so lazy I'd turn Bethesda into an acronym about bugs.

Also, the PS3 has just as much ram as the 360, I just think Bethesda has lousy QA testing and doesn't care about solving it because they make money no matter the glitches.

The 360 sucks too. Have you played Dark Souls on it?

Oh, I'm not defendig any consoles, lol.

Both suck hard. Their basically 7 year old pcs.

I prefer rigs.

Problem is, Bethesda doesn't really give a rat's ass about anything else, other than the XBox.

Have you guys heard of that retarded Halo 4 offer?

Play x hours and get y Microsoft points.

Ex: 140 hours of Halo 4 multiplayer = 600 Microsoft points.

No, fuck you, Microsoft.

Why did I used to think Bethesda was awesome?

"Suddenly Frodo noticed that a strange-looking weather-beaten man, sitting in the shadows near the wall, was also listening intently to the hobbit-talk. He had a tall tankard in front of him, and was smoking a long-stemmed pipe curiously carved. His legs were stretched out before him, showing high boots of supple leather that fitted him well, but had seen much wear and were now caked with mud. A travel-stained cloak of heavy dark-green cloth was drawn close about him, and in spite of the heat of the room he wore a hood that overshadowed his face; but the gleam of his eyes could be seen as he watched the hobbits."

Emm.

It's ok for people who don't know how to use Nifscope, or edit 3D models.

I dislike it for it's results, more often than not. Too many recolors of existing armors.

If anything, I even prefer modders using a mish mash of different parts for original armors. But that's just the tip of the iceberg. Some of the quests made are amazing. I love them, waaaaaay too much.

http://fallout3.nexusmods.com/mods/6270

That's a perfect example, just one of the best quests I ever played.

Than, there are some of the overhauls and augmentations.

http://fallout3.nexusmods.com/mods/2761

That overhauls almost the entire game, giving it the hardcore mode it had before New Vegas even thought of it.

http://fallout3.nexusmods.com/mods/8340

Turns energy weapons into a sight to behold, actually makes me want to make characters with points invested in luck just to see the crit kills.

http://fallout3.nexusmods.com/mods/3211

This one adds a variety of creatures and mutants, and turned a walk into the park through the Dunwich Building, into a hell that I will never forget. Seriously, you think you finish off a building of ghouls, and than half of them get up and try to kill you.

It's insane, man.

I don't like Dark Souls, the only appeal I see is that it's hard and rewards you when you master it, but isn't that what all games should be doing? Bleh, besides I like Story Based games anyway
Have you tried turn it off and on again?

I still don't understand why no one got Spec Ops The Line.

Seriously. Fucking amazing.

I just realized there were multiple endings.

The Darkness is pretty great also.

First one, though.

There are a plethora of good games with story, but they seem to be overlooked for the bigger titles.

Though what really surprised me was the strength of Black Ops 2's story.

It's better than I thought it would ever be. Probably the best campaign of COD in general.

Their games would be awesome if they weren't littered with bad bugs.

Spec Ops didn't catch on because it released at a dead point of the year, came across as a just another modern war shooter. Both things that can't create buzz. The time of the year it came out in could be a big hit if it had the buzz and word of mouth that Red Dead had created.

The funny part is that people make patches for their games, and then they're just awesome.

It's a bit sad that Spec Ops was thought of in that way.

Wait, did you play it?

I haven't played it yet, I'll probably pick it up in the next few months since it's hitting the bargain bin. If 2k had invested the money it used to force mp into the game instead into making the sp better or marketing, maybe this discussion wouldn't be happening. Unfortunately April-July is the dead zone for gaming and Take2 didn't get a buzz going for Spec Ops or Max Payne 3 like they have in the past for other dead zone releases.
