Don;t you not celebrate holidays?
"Suddenly Frodo noticed that a strange-looking weather-beaten man, sitting in the shadows near the wall, was also listening intently to the hobbit-talk. He had a tall tankard in front of him, and was smoking a long-stemmed pipe curiously carved. His legs were stretched out before him, showing high boots of supple leather that fitted him well, but had seen much wear and were now caked with mud. A travel-stained cloak of heavy dark-green cloth was drawn close about him, and in spite of the heat of the room he wore a hood that overshadowed his face; but the gleam of his eyes could be seen as he watched the hobbits."

I FUCKING hate Silent Night and Jingle Bells.

Those are the only songs these carolers know how to sing.

I have never actually seen carolers. I didn't know they existed anymore

In my quaint town of fucking innocence, they seem to be quite common.

I think one of them made a comment along the lines of, "God bless that poor, crazy man."

Nice to know I have earned pity. NOW can I yell at them?

No.
Even if they're just there to rile you it would reflect extremely badly if you yelled at them or we're rude.

Do you think that will help your reputation or hurt it?

I love living in a major city because I can be as rude or cordial as I like.

Fine.

I guess I'll let it go.

I need to find that inner zen/peace I've been told to stay connected to.

Anyway. Any Christmas plans for you guys?

Thanksgiving, that's about it. Although I'm not sure you can call having a turkey dinner around that time celebrating. Don't really do all that "I'm thankful for..." nonsense.

I don't really need anything special for celebrating Christmas.

I'll probably just buy some toys and drop them off at an orphanage or something. Make some kids happy. Kids deserve to be happy on Christmas.

And then balance it out by finding some way to blitz my mind into that dimension I went to during past Decembers.

I want nothing and even if I did, I wouldn't get it. So yeah, no point in wanting something.
Beats getting disappointed.
