The first time I heard of the channel, was when I was playing Doom 2 while in a chat party on my 360. One guy was was watching the video on youtube, and I was able to hear the video. The other guy was pissed that these guys were making fun
of these great movies.

7 game point streak! Giroux with GWG. And there's something great about seeing the defensive trust that Rinaldo is gaining.

Yes 2 points, danke Giroux. I'm in 3rd in the pool, and Giroux hasn't even been producing, so I'm really hoping he gets going
"Suddenly Frodo noticed that a strange-looking weather-beaten man, sitting in the shadows near the wall, was also listening intently to the hobbit-talk. He had a tall tankard in front of him, and was smoking a long-stemmed pipe curiously carved. His legs were stretched out before him, showing high boots of supple leather that fitted him well, but had seen much wear and were now caked with mud. A travel-stained cloak of heavy dark-green cloth was drawn close about him, and in spite of the heat of the room he wore a hood that overshadowed his face; but the gleam of his eyes could be seen as he watched the hobbits."

He's been cranking out the assists, the top line needs to get it going all around. They're looking better each game, it's just lack of puck luck to get the goal.

I heard of them through the radio show I listen to. I subscribed to them when they uploaded their 3rd video.
As I saw the creature, I was as white as an egg. I was so scared I might crack from fear. As the humanoid began to lunge after me, I was walking on egg shells from how scared I was. It grabbed me, took me to its station, and cracked me open. The last thing I saw were my yellow insides cooked on a pan. Human nature is as evil as a rotten egg.

Q.U. wrote:It's obvious that they are just milking the zombie craze. Just like Twilight milking the vampire craze. The product doesn't have to be high quality, in fact, it doesn't even have to be medium quality to sell well. It just needs to sound cool enough to get people riled up. Once they spend money on it many will convince themselves that it was worth the money. Because if it wasn't then it would imply they were wrong choosing to pay for watching it. And loads of people have trouble admitting to that. Also, the fanboys of the genre will always go for it, no matter the quality. But that's been said here already.

I think Twilight still counted as being part of the vampire craze, not something milking it.

This is milking the vampire craze:

A prissy teen that thinks she's better than everybody, a depressed vampire that sparkles, and a werewolf that never wears a shirt. Totally not milking...

Milking a trend is hopping on something after the fact, the vampire trend started to take off right around when the first book was released.

Ya, Twilight kinda reignited the Vampire craze, really

Really?

So, you're telling me that the "Twilight" saga, published 2005-2008 was the early wave of the vampire craze? Even though the movie "Blade" was so popular and neatly grossing in 1998 already (~$200 million on a ~$45 million budget) that they decided to make "Blade 2" in 2002 and "Blade: Trinity" in 2004?
Rule number 1 guys: a sequel already indicated milking it.
The successes of "Blade" itself, were the ignition of movies like "Underworld", which came out in 2003, still before "Twilight".

Sorry, but if you think the "vamp craze" is as young as 2005 then I'm afraid you're terribly mistaken. The hype was there since like year 2000 already. And that began as early as in 1994, when the "Interview with the Vampire" was released. Most of the stuff past 2003/2004 was already a milking attempt.
With a few exceptions, of course. "Let the right one in" from 2008 was a somewhat more original and deeper interpretation. But other than that, no. Twilight did not start, nor re-ignite the craze. It just added horny teenage girls and perverted adult women into the craze, to the adolescent boys fascinated by gore and cool black stuff group that's been there for a while already.

I consider the trend to start when multiple movies/tv shows come out in a year. Because if you want to trace the current vampire trend to just one movie every year or two then we could go back to the mid 80s. There's also two concurrent Vampire trends there's the action stuff and then there's the moody female targeted shit and that's to me is a bigger trend because it crossed onto tv and for a was a huge seller for books.

There will never be a Frankenstein trend because the story is the same and there's only so many ways to spin it. Vampires and Zombies have roots in many of parts of the worlds' folklore, there's also the creeping world domination/destruction to those archetypes that allows for movies about a world where everyone alive is a Vampire or Vampires living in the arctic circle for the longer nights. Zombies can show the outbreak or 20 years after the outbreak. Then there's parody or comedic takes on these genres.

I thought The Conjuring was great. Haven't been scarred that much in a long while. And I've watched lots of scary movies. Not enough, I guess.
