I spent the day with a friend hammering through Boarderlands 2, the Game of the Year edition with all the DLC. I've been collecting better guns than him... He's mad cuz of it... Haha.

Okay, so I have an internet question for y'all.
Can people look up what you search up with the wifi I'm using? And, if so, how can I prevent from them not looking through me shot?
A bit paranoid right now... Yes, I've been lookin' up naughty things. DON'T JUDGE!

Yes, but it's not as simple as that. If you're using a friend's wi-fi or something, if they were a techie they could go to the trouble of figuring out the websites you visit, but it's not like it straight up records a log that says Randori went to x.com.

Also your internet history is always recorded by default, whether by an ISP or wifi. ISPs just have to do that by law though and 99.99% of the time no one will ever be looking at your history.

My advice is to just stop using a person's wifi to look at porn. If it's your parents wifi or something and they aren't techies then you're probably in the clear. If it's your school's wifi then they won't care nearly enough to analyze your traffic unless you're suddenly in the news for being a terrorist or something.

Alright, thanks.
God did I feel like shit when I heard "maybe he's looking at so-and-so". I'm thinking "... no fucking way."
Now I just use airplane mode on my phone to get out of the wifi.

If you're focused on your phone, secluding yourself, not making texting gestures or talking on the phone, and you're a teenage boy, a reasonable assumption is you're looking at porn. Also no one needs to make a text in private either.

Also, how would airplane mode help? If you're thinking they can see all you've ever searched, no, they only see what websites you connect to on their wifi.

All that I don't care about. It's what I look up is what worries me.

What i meant was I'm only deactivating my wi-fi and using the 3g I have.
This feels like an intervention and that I should stop.

trying to decide whether to keep drinking or eat something, or both
"Suddenly Frodo noticed that a strange-looking weather-beaten man, sitting in the shadows near the wall, was also listening intently to the hobbit-talk. He had a tall tankard in front of him, and was smoking a long-stemmed pipe curiously carved. His legs were stretched out before him, showing high boots of supple leather that fitted him well, but had seen much wear and were now caked with mud. A travel-stained cloak of heavy dark-green cloth was drawn close about him, and in spite of the heat of the room he wore a hood that overshadowed his face; but the gleam of his eyes could be seen as he watched the hobbits."

Hmm, the (terrible) Resident Evil movies were originally planned to have George A. Romero as a director, but Capcom actually disapproved of his offered script and then gave the job to Paul Anderson. To think, we could've had actually good Resident Evil movies

But if you notice the audience scores are 2 to 3 times higher than the critics. That and the fact that the movies make way more than their budget back indicates some people really like those movies.

The real mystery is why they keep coming out. Therevenue the are making out of thei current intake can't be possibly enough to make the whole thing economically viable.

They made $240 million on a $65 million budget on the most recent one, that's a really good return on investment. The fact is there will always be a market for cheesy horror/action movies. It's just another niche that has a loyal fan following, like horror games/movies in general.

There's also the fact it has a relatively safe return. The franchise has already proven itself. Just keep doing the same thing and you'll keep making money. No one wants to risk their money on unproven brands and stories.

6 was a let down that sold over 5 million copies. The problem is horror is a niche that's very loyal but not huge, you can't make a horror game that needs to sell 6-7 million copies to start making profit, if instead you made 3 games that need 2 million in sales to start earning profit you're better off. It's the same with horror movies, a $120 million dollar horror movie won't turn profit but 6 $20 million horror movies will earn good profit.

If they kept the zombies slow or let you move normally then they may be a bit better.
Why not?

Are you meaning that 4 was also a letdown for you? It might have gotten more action-y then, but it's a solid game with plenty of horror elements still and improved game mechanics. But it's disappointing they couldn't keep that momentum going.

Also, animated movies are still for family friendly stuff, while adult animation is more common it's still relegated to cable channels' late night blocks.

It's obvious that they are just milking the zombie craze. Just like Twilight milking the vampire craze. The product doesn't have to be high quality, in fact, it doesn't even have to be medium quality to sell well. It just needs to sound cool enough to get people riled up. Once they spend money on it many will convince themselves that it was worth the money. Because if it wasn't then it would imply they were wrong choosing to pay for watching it. And loads of people have trouble admitting to that. Also, the fanboys of the genre will always go for it, no matter the quality. But that's been said here already.
