But 3 games into the season? They should have just fired him during the off season and tried to get on the coaching frenzy. I also think the problem with the flyers is largely systemic and traces back to Snider.

Ya, timing is a bit weird. You'd think if they were giving him some kind of second chance they'd give him longer.
"Suddenly Frodo noticed that a strange-looking weather-beaten man, sitting in the shadows near the wall, was also listening intently to the hobbit-talk. He had a tall tankard in front of him, and was smoking a long-stemmed pipe curiously carved. His legs were stretched out before him, showing high boots of supple leather that fitted him well, but had seen much wear and were now caked with mud. A travel-stained cloak of heavy dark-green cloth was drawn close about him, and in spite of the heat of the room he wore a hood that overshadowed his face; but the gleam of his eyes could be seen as he watched the hobbits."

Whooo 900 pages. Only 100 to go.
As I saw the creature, I was as white as an egg. I was so scared I might crack from fear. As the humanoid began to lunge after me, I was walking on egg shells from how scared I was. It grabbed me, took me to its station, and cracked me open. The last thing I saw were my yellow insides cooked on a pan. Human nature is as evil as a rotten egg.

eh, more than likely it will, because these guys are sually the first and last to answer the call, or notice when it gets to that point, still we have 100 pages of nothing to talk about up till that point.

There's still 12 names missing from that list.

And they have before. Much spam will be had on that faithful day...

@ Tuor: Yeah, that.

And again, it's restricted to one for each individual person. Don't think that rule has been there forever though.

I could argue over technicalities and such, but then it would only end with people ( such as Tuor) getting annoyed by it so I'll just shut my trap now

Either give him longer or they should have jumped in during the summer when Torts, AV and Eakins were floating around. But now they've got their thumbs up their asses because they need a culture change but that doesn't happen when you promote from within.

I actually think AV would have fit here. I see certain things that are kind of similar to the canucks the biggest one is a deep defense that lacks an all situations number 1 dman.

Maybe, although I think the d-corp is a bit better in Vancouver, and Luongo/Schneider is a better goalie. Probably would have gotten the offense going though, AV coaches a pretty good transitions game

I think the big problem is that the Dmen aren't giving all they can give or aren't put into a position to do so. Right now the goaltending is the least of my concerns about the team the transition game is miserable, they can't clear the zone for shit, in zone coverage has been a joke, the powerplay isn't clicking, too many penalties, the forecheck isn't there because they get stuck in the zone for so long that they have to change and send one guy in.
