And the good lord sayeth: Come forth The Talk Thread XVIII!

This forum can be a scary place, 'cause we got lax rules: let's see your war face. Take a breath, and roll the dice, you might find out we're really nice.

Simply magical
"Suddenly Frodo noticed that a strange-looking weather-beaten man, sitting in the shadows near the wall, was also listening intently to the hobbit-talk. He had a tall tankard in front of him, and was smoking a long-stemmed pipe curiously carved. His legs were stretched out before him, showing high boots of supple leather that fitted him well, but had seen much wear and were now caked with mud. A travel-stained cloak of heavy dark-green cloth was drawn close about him, and in spite of the heat of the room he wore a hood that overshadowed his face; but the gleam of his eyes could be seen as he watched the hobbits."

Ya, that was a bit exhausting to read.

And for a few years I would gag if I smelt Tuborg, because my cousin and 3 of his friends each bought a flat of 48 tall cans one time. Eventually they realized there was no way they were gonna finish them and they started being quite liberal with them

16 oz, I guess, they were 500 ml.

We drank, a lot, and our encampment was near this bridge that passed over a little creak, and so people would be crossing over it fairly often, so by the time evening rolled around we'd usually give a few beers away, or trick people into doing a beer bong. We had this drinking horn that some of the guys had cut the bottom off of

What a coincidence, that's how many of us there were, haha.

It was awesome, we had people dropping by our encampment all night, sharing their booze with us, and then we'd share some of the beer.
