It would be a total Homer move to pull in a top level dman or a young defenseman who wants more than their team is offering.

That makes me sad, and I pity people who think that way. It's a good thing to contribute to society, but it's not bad to just do nothing every once in a while. The world moves too fast. Sometimes nothing is the best thing we can do for ourselves.

Dude i have one of those questions that i have no idea who to ask for.

What would be a good disclaimer for using the likeness of something?
Going back to what i posted the other day, what would be a good way to say that i didn't intend to commit copyright infringement by copying the paper mario art style to create a new art piece? Because i know i have to include one of those bullshit disclaimers but i don't know how it goes (spanish to english law is fail)

Well, a style isn't entirely something copyrightable. Think it's stated by the Federal Court that an "art style" is basically an idea and can't be copyrighted, and only its actual form matters. It's the reason why games are able to steal mechanics from other games or cartoons can have similar looking styles like between Powerpuff Girls and PASWG or a lot of the Cartoon Network "Cartoon Cartoons".

So basically, don't worry about it. It's free game.

My museum studies prof is so incredibly verbose and tangental, with a stuffy british accent to boot. I find myself wanting to run up there and finish what she's saying succinctly.

It's probably a confidence thing. I feel like people who do so are trying to sound smarter to make up for a lack of it.

Does it make it really hard to get down key points, or is it just annoying?

There's something about the history, anthropology, archaeology that tends to pick up people who tend to veer the most off of a point because of tangential points of interest to the main point.

Aye, and sometimes they can be interesting, but with her they're not, but it's mostly just how long she takes to arrive at a point even when she doesn't go off on a tangent.

Though Tuor says she's just plain boring, it's more likely they find it all interesting and never have a chance to talk much about it.

An interesting idea, but I dont think it'll ever become big. Companies make too much money from just upgrading their phone every year.

a laptop is not really what I meant since a laptop actually lacks the big part of PC which is being able to upgrade parts of it or easily replace them
you can only do small upgrades in a laptop and even that depends on the type, and it's always a goddamn mess to do so.

Which is too bad, really. I'd buy this in a heartbeat, assuming it worked properly.

I saw this video yesterday I think, but I have to agree with Asmodia though I think this entire idea is really cool and innovative idea, being able to customize the phone based on what you need. Bigger camera, more memory for music, ect.

This article offers an interesting, and realistic, opinion on the phonebloks.
