It really feels weird, now. Birthdays, I mean.

They don't have the same charm like they did when I was a kid. Now it's just another year gone by.

I'VE BECOME WHATIS.

What, is becoming Whatis a curse?
As I saw the creature, I was as white as an egg. I was so scared I might crack from fear. As the humanoid began to lunge after me, I was walking on egg shells from how scared I was. It grabbed me, took me to its station, and cracked me open. The last thing I saw were my yellow insides cooked on a pan. Human nature is as evil as a rotten egg.

You haven't become Whatis. You have just realised that it's pointless to celebrate your own mortality and that it's actually just another day.
There's apparently some religious that actually don't celebrate birthdays.

It's still a good day to reminisce on good memories.

Like good tv shows. Third season of digimon was the best kids show when it was on.

Or Ed Edd n' Eddy.

Speak for yourself. I have to share my birthday with one of my grandma's funeral.
I would rather avoid that day.

VISIBLE SILENCE
"Suddenly Frodo noticed that a strange-looking weather-beaten man, sitting in the shadows near the wall, was also listening intently to the hobbit-talk. He had a tall tankard in front of him, and was smoking a long-stemmed pipe curiously carved. His legs were stretched out before him, showing high boots of supple leather that fitted him well, but had seen much wear and were now caked with mud. A travel-stained cloak of heavy dark-green cloth was drawn close about him, and in spite of the heat of the room he wore a hood that overshadowed his face; but the gleam of his eyes could be seen as he watched the hobbits."

I forgot to add what a Vayne said right afterwards, "I want the family jewels".
But it still worked perfectly.

I'm not sure what her condition is. She was just born with a wek heart, which she inherited from her father and her replacement is being rejected by her body. There may not be a donor for some time and she is stuck in ICU wired to a bed until then.

I don't think it really matters why at this point, i'm guessing the matter of finding another heart is what's preoccupying.
I fell asleep at around 10 and now i can't sleep.

How long is someone able to stay alive with a heart that's being rejected exactly? I don't know how it all works, so would they have to return the old heart until a replacement is found? Or is it impossible to do so and she has to keep the reject heart for now?

I'm assuming that since she's connected to machines, she's keeping the rejected heart.
There's a machine that replaces the function of the heart and the only downside of it is that you don't have a pulse. She should check this out.

But is that something people are able to survive on for extended periods of time? I'm not too knowledgeable in this field.
