typically, when a move like that is done, it will be a match with more than two competitors, and for whatever reason there will be a mass of wrestlers there to break the fall of the two doing that sort of fall to the outside of the ring

but they must have just landed on the floor, which is almost always concrete, though covered in gym mats

that must've hurt like shit, they got some velocity on 'em

Ya, that's why I was amazed, that must have hurt like a bitch.

I'm trying to convince myself to study for my exam on Thursday, but it's not working
"Suddenly Frodo noticed that a strange-looking weather-beaten man, sitting in the shadows near the wall, was also listening intently to the hobbit-talk. He had a tall tankard in front of him, and was smoking a long-stemmed pipe curiously carved. His legs were stretched out before him, showing high boots of supple leather that fitted him well, but had seen much wear and were now caked with mud. A travel-stained cloak of heavy dark-green cloth was drawn close about him, and in spite of the heat of the room he wore a hood that overshadowed his face; but the gleam of his eyes could be seen as he watched the hobbits."

I'm trying to figure who caught the worst of that, because the receiver got whipped faster but he landed flat back, the other guy is going face first which is a harder bump but it looks like he caught the edge a bit and slowed down.

Grey, you're such an awesomely bad influence

Done studying, for tonight anyway.

I feel more confident for this exam than the one I had today. I feel like I could bullshit my way out of trouble on this one, if I had to.

It's high school, if it's multiple choice, common sense can easily get you at least a B on a test. Though the homework part I agree, high school gives you tons of busy work that doesn't really help. The people I saw in the econ class at my school (I didn't have to take it) had a metric ton of pointless work to do.

However, going to sleep now would probably help you the most.

Ya, good night's sleep is seriously your best ally, you brain can only take so much studying anyways, before it's nothelpful anymore.

Is the class in the morning or later? If I had a class later I'd just study throughout the day, possibly using break/lunch to do so.

If you've been studying more than 3 hours straight, it's break time. After about 3 hours your brain stops retaining anything. If you don't get enough sleep you won't go into REM sleep and your brain won't convert what you learned to its long term memory.

It's afternoon, but... actually, that's true. I'm teacher assistant for my morning class, so I'll study then. I'll just study a bit right now, get sleep, and ace that fuckin' test.

Turo>> I actually just STARTED my midnight studying. I won't do it for a long while, maybe 1/2 an hour.
