It's not my bedtime yet.

Also, to the Game of Throne fans.

I have a studying schedule for my kanji studies, so I can get the most out of my spaced recognition system. It requires being awake at odd hours sometimes. >_<

Weirdo
"Suddenly Frodo noticed that a strange-looking weather-beaten man, sitting in the shadows near the wall, was also listening intently to the hobbit-talk. He had a tall tankard in front of him, and was smoking a long-stemmed pipe curiously carved. His legs were stretched out before him, showing high boots of supple leather that fitted him well, but had seen much wear and were now caked with mud. A travel-stained cloak of heavy dark-green cloth was drawn close about him, and in spite of the heat of the room he wore a hood that overshadowed his face; but the gleam of his eyes could be seen as he watched the hobbits."

This weirdo will know enough kanji to take a crack at the JLPT 1 in only two years. ^_~

(JLPT is the Japanese Language Proficiency Test. 1 is the hardest level.)

Also, woe...I knit 10.5 inches on this sweater for my kid, then went to bind off to separate the fronts and backs, only to find out that I somehow mind-blanked when I started and I'm 60 sts short in the width...for the entire length of the sweater!

I now must rip it all out and start all over again...

That's cool, I guess.

I'm trying to decide what language to take to fulfil my language credits

Tokyo, of course! I've always wanted to see the city, full of lights, people, and merchandise! So much merchandise...

Ex> We'll need at least two weeks in Tokyo. Honestly, we could stay for months and not see everything there is to see. Definitely need to get to Akihabara! After Tokyo, though...to Nagoya! Buy ALL THE KIMONO!

Easy as hell, I hate languages. I didn't complete higher than a Gr 9 level, that's the only reason I have to do this.

2 weeks will barely be enough time to see all the districts of Tokyo. I remember last summer I spent 2 weeks just hanging out in Shibuya, Akihabara, Harajuku, and Ginza

That's why I said "at least," ehehe. Ideally, I'd start and end a trip with Tokyo. Fly in, spend some time in the city, then head to the southernmost point of the country and work my way all the way up to Hokkaido, then back to Tokyo for some more leisurely sightseeing.

But that's the ideal months-long trip, with most of it being during the cherry blossom season. <3

Romance languages are the easiest to learn for a native English-speaker, I've heard.

We also went to Kamakura and a bath house in the mountain.

Ugh, I already tried French and Italian and didn't like them.

Maybe. I've been considering Latin, because I took a course of that before, French because Canada and it'd be kinda useful especially if I wind up trying to get government work, or Japanese

It's seems weird to me that people around my age are getting married
