Also, any edits made retained the initially intended context. When you're writing Lagrangian functions in C++ some language implications you unintentionally made on the side might slip by you.

Today in my "Europe During the Renaissance" class we looked at original manuscripts from the 15th century. That was very cool. One of the times I've gotten the closest to aafgkasjhgksdfh fanboying

It was like "holy crap these are old, how are they in such good shape? This is so cool. Holy cow they're wood bound, wow. There footnote system works so much better than ours, wtf. Oh my god some guys writing in the margins, actual handwriting from like 500 years ago! Hahaha, dude doodled in this! Must have been harder to doodle withoutt getting noticed since you have to keep dipping quill in ink. WHOA ACTUAL BOOKWORM HOLES!" Etc etc
