Not even grandfather, at this point outside of a few geezers everyone playing grew up wearing one and if they want to talk about cohesion of rules from AHL to NHL that should be in, but yet again I'd be cool with no touch icing.

The players would bitch about anything but at the same time the owners have to make sure to minimize potential injuries to their players.
