Superfudge

But seriously the latest book I read was Soon I Will Be Invincible by Austin Grossman, which I thought was pretty good.
Considering that it's the first real book I've read in months, that's the only one I can recommend.

Sooo...
I noticed that all the comic creators of this site are now labeled as artists.
Shame that only three of them still visit here.

Wassup guys?
"Suddenly Frodo noticed that a strange-looking weather-beaten man, sitting in the shadows near the wall, was also listening intently to the hobbit-talk. He had a tall tankard in front of him, and was smoking a long-stemmed pipe curiously carved. His legs were stretched out before him, showing high boots of supple leather that fitted him well, but had seen much wear and were now caked with mud. A travel-stained cloak of heavy dark-green cloth was drawn close about him, and in spite of the heat of the room he wore a hood that overshadowed his face; but the gleam of his eyes could be seen as he watched the hobbits."

Whatis6times9 wrote:Well thinking about it and talking with a few friends Black Like Me, Native Son, Black Boy, Raisin in the Sun, Their Eyes Were Watching God. The more traditional stuff was Animal Farm, The Pearl, A Separate Peace, The Time Machine, The Metamorphosis. And I'm sure there was another half dozen individual books, a few dozen short stories, a few dozen poems and 3 or 4 Shakespeare plays.

I don't remember all the books we read in my school, but from what I can remember off the top of my head:

Romeo and Juliet
To Kill a Mockingbird
Animal Farm
Night
The Catcher in the Rye
The Great Gatsby
The Scarlet Letter
Adventures of Huckleberry Finn
Narrative of the Life of Frederick Douglass
Hamlet
The Strange Case of Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde
1984
Brave New World
The Handmaid's Tale
Wuthering Heights
Hard Times
Alice's Adventures in Wonderland
Through the Looking-Glass
Going After Cacciato

I also remember reading A Dog's Purpose and The Art of Racing in the Rain, both of which were suggested to me by my English teachers and are cute/sad stories about dogs from the perspective of the dog. One of them deals with the idea of reincarnation, so that's interesting.

I would have loved to read Alice in Wonderland in school. That is without a doubt, my favorite book. Most of the books you listed, however, are the same ones I read. Great Gatsby was another good book. I detested Catcher in the Rye, as well as Romeo and Juliet, on the other hand.

Anyone good with TV shit?

I wanna get a 32 inch HD TV, but not sure what brand/ what I should be looking for. I'm probably gonna get a DVD/Blu-Ray player with wifi and shit, so I can watch Netflix. So any suggestions for that, too?
