Unusual Habits

Postby Exodis » Mon Feb 23, 2015 8:34 pm

I have some strange habits.
For some reason, whenever I get on my laptop, I would go on google and search up "Bioshock" just to see if there is any news related to the game. I would do this every time, always expecting news from the game or something related to it.
Also, I would randomly go to the fridge, look inside it for a bit, close it, and go on with my day. I would open the fridge more than 10 times a day, almost all the time just looking inside it.

What unusual habits do you have?

The answers called out ranged from 8oz. to 20 oz. She replied, "The absolute weight doesn't matter. If I hold it for an hour, I'll have an ache in my arm. If I hold it for a day, my arm will feel numb and paralyzed. In each case, the weight of the glass doesn't change but the longer I hold it, the heavier it becomes." She continued, "The stress and worries in life are like that glass of water. think about them for awhile and nothing happens. Think about them for a big longer and they begin to hurt. And if you think about them all day long, you will feel paralyzed - incapable of doing anything. Always remember to put the glass down."

I was only able to play System Shock 2. First one I have not but I want to. Great game, though the gameplay mechanics was hard to control at first. Also, it took me a while to understand the beginning of the story.

Well, you know, there's some fans remaking SS1: http://www.indiedb.com/games/citadel
SS2 is an incredible game and the graphics mods aren't too shabby.
Also, this is cool (spoilers): https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=eEQReLZJXJQ

My only weird habit is that I wash my hands a lot. I'm a huge germaphobe.
I mean, I take 2-3 1-2 hour long showers every day for the last two months now, sitting down and not using shampoo/body wash, but that's more meditative and I have a limited opportunity to take advantage of free, unlimited hot water an. I see it more like swimming in a pool than really bathing. If you're gonna judge me, do it for wasting water.

Sometimes when I'm done browsing a site, and I leave it to browse another, I type in the name of the site I was just browsing and go to it again out of pure muscle memory.

Kind of like that whole schtick where you try to look for something in the fridge, find nothing, and then go back 30 seconds later expecting to find something else?

When i walk on the street, i pay attention on which foot steps over the divisions of the concrete and always try to keep a balance on each feet. If i step twice with the right foot then i try to step twice with the left to balance it out and so on.

When I was younger and I would be walking in public I'd pluck a leaf from a bush and just fold it 2 to 3 times
Have you tried turn it off and on again?
