Ya, it's not really that common to be offered a choice, haha, like if I think I've only been asked once or twice what kind of rum I wanted in a rum and coke.

I've had to put away/fetch/stock so much alcohol, I think I have a healthy list memorized. The only problem is I haven't had the chance to try even 1/3rd of the ones I know.

we've got a selection of vodkas and rums at my pub. if someone asks for a vodka-whatever i'll just use the standard vodka. but tuor, i feel you should always check what rum someone wants, because they're all so different. you got white rums, dark rums, spiced rums, golden rums, etc.

spiced rum's the best, but it's always worth checking
