This forum can be a scary place, 'cause we got lax rules: let's see your war face. Take a breath, and roll the dice, you might find out we're really nice.

Ugh, Mojang, just break all my mods with an insignificant update, why don'tcha?
Fri May 03, 2013 1:53 pm
I'm surprised there's no mod support yet. What's up with that?
Fri May 03, 2013 2:06 pm
I guess they just quit working on the API?
Fri May 03, 2013 3:20 pm
At the very least, they're procrastinating.
Seriously, I think the developers just don't particularly like working on functionality rather than features and are putting it off. This is a game that still has no tutorial, after all. At this point, it does seems like they're not working on it at all.

i guess since the sale speed isn't as ridiculously fast as before and tuned down to just "fast" i guess they're no longer that motivated

I just don't get why my ISP actively shuts down my connection just to feed my modem a new IP, despite having an active connection that is in use...
Sat May 04, 2013 11:57 pm
You could try calling your ISP about it?
Sun May 05, 2013 10:43 am
Comcast is a bunch of annoying jerks. They don't give me much support beyond insisting I need to buy one of their overpriced modems, etc. It's a real bad practice if you ask me. Also laziness, I don't enjoy talking to them, and the account isn't in my name. lol

Okay, so the patch notes said performance improved for high resolution texture packs. And I use a 128x128 texture pack. And I used to get dips into 10-ish frame rate. And I now have consistently 100+ with optifine.
I hereby retract all statements about this update being unnecessary.

Is it possible to move a beacon block? I'm thinking of building a church and placing the beacon behind the altar.
Sun May 05, 2013 7:50 pm
Have you tried whacking at it with your pick
Sun May 05, 2013 8:25 pm
Well no, that's the thing. I'm not sure if it will break like spawners do.

I took the liberty of editing the OP in this thread. The inaccuracy and irrelevance of some of it was just starting to get to me. I saved the entirety of the post to my hard drive in case we ever need it.

ill help you kill a wither if your karma sucks

No, I just needed to know if it could be moved. Morph placed a beacon in town, I'm just gonna relocate it into the church. Distance from where it is right now is almost none.

I'm disturbed by the fact that it doesn't display whoever last edited a post.
