Eh it's okay. I was born in the "good" side of Los Angeles. I went to okay schools, got into some fights in my Elementary/Middle school, did bad during my Elementary school years but improved drastically in my Middle School years (I was in an 8th grade English class when I was a 6th grader (true shit)) and I moved to the suburbs of Los Angeles (still here today). But, in the end, I'm glad I was born in L.A.

How would you be able to judge what the "good" side of L.A. would be?
Sun Mar 24, 2013 11:01 pm
Well there was little-to-none violence where I lived...
Sun Mar 24, 2013 11:03 pm
were you technically in a suburb?
Sun Mar 24, 2013 11:14 pm
The times I've been to LA it just seemed like a sort of dirty place overall. I wasn't visiting nice areas with good houses and nice businesses though, it's usually for the Boardwalk, Dodgers Stadium, Venice Beach and Universal Studios, so obviously the more urban and touristy areas. Otherwise I live almost 2 hours away.

I live about 4-5 hours away. But I just don't have the money or resources to go there like I'd want to.

Google "Koreatown" and that's where I lived.
Sun Mar 24, 2013 11:21 pm
oh so you're kinda right smack-dab in the middle of things
Sun Mar 24, 2013 11:24 pm
Haha yup. And yes, a lot of Koreans live there. Stores, ads, almost everything Korean-related.
Sun Mar 24, 2013 11:30 pm
I think mentioning you lived in Koreatown says all that already.
Sun Mar 24, 2013 11:31 pm
Gee, I thought the place would be full of Italians

I love Vietnamese food. My aunt is Vietnamese, and she makes wonderful soups.
