I wish more people did, but it doesn't really seem like it. You never see conversations or comments in they do
"Suddenly Frodo noticed that a strange-looking weather-beaten man, sitting in the shadows near the wall, was also listening intently to the hobbit-talk. He had a tall tankard in front of him, and was smoking a long-stemmed pipe curiously carved. His legs were stretched out before him, showing high boots of supple leather that fitted him well, but had seen much wear and were now caked with mud. A travel-stained cloak of heavy dark-green cloth was drawn close about him, and in spite of the heat of the room he wore a hood that overshadowed his face; but the gleam of his eyes could be seen as he watched the hobbits."

We should at least talk about the music we're listening to. For example I've been listening to a lot of Hall & Oates and The Alan Parsons Project lately. I just can't stand that bullshit logic that if you're sad you should listen to sad music to feel better. That shit makes me feel worse, you should listen to the opposite of that to make yourself feel better. I liek the upbeat 80's/90's feel of those bands and without their songs and i would be in bed right now ODing on sadness.
Have you tried turn it off and on again?

Totally agree about sad musing thing. Listening to sad music feels nice for a while, because it's nice to wallow for a bit, but ultimately you should only do it for a bit and then move to some up beat stuff. There's a few songs that have turned me out of some funks. They're wildly disparate.

Those are pretty good ones! I'll post some of my favorites for cheering up

and for those not so tough days but still tough:

I don't think it's possible to still feel shitty after listening to this Up beat genius tracks. I mean sure you'll probably feel shitty but not as much as when you began.

If I post foreign songs, I'll put the EN lyrics in the post.

Postby Wulfespinndel » Mon Dec 16, 2013 2:25 am

Lying down with my head
on my heavy luggage here
Take a deep breath...
into the blue heaven

Even through I open my eyes wide or shut,
the same fine scenery's passing just before me
But I've got to watch it now, or will never know

**I'll take you to the future
where no sadness is ever making sense
With only beam of delight once you gave me
put in my precious pocket
I will be... gone into the blue sky

Yesterday or tomorrow
What would it matter at all?
How about a whistle
...everything will be alright

Even though I try to run or walk again,
eventually I'm reaching to the same destination
But I've got to run for now, or will never change

I'll take you to the future
where no more war is ever taking place
With only memory of happy moments
spent with you on my mind
I will be...

**Chorus 2x
"Give yourself permission to immediately walk away from anything that gives you bad vibes. There is no need to explain or make sense of it. Just trust the little inner voice when it talks to you." ~ unknown

Robo's theme from Chrono Trigger.

And by the way, I totally check out a lot of the music that gets posted here. People here have good taste, for the most part.
