*shrug* here's mine
"Suddenly Frodo noticed that a strange-looking weather-beaten man, sitting in the shadows near the wall, was also listening intently to the hobbit-talk. He had a tall tankard in front of him, and was smoking a long-stemmed pipe curiously carved. His legs were stretched out before him, showing high boots of supple leather that fitted him well, but had seen much wear and were now caked with mud. A travel-stained cloak of heavy dark-green cloth was drawn close about him, and in spite of the heat of the room he wore a hood that overshadowed his face; but the gleam of his eyes could be seen as he watched the hobbits."

My story, taking place within the Bleedverse as a continuation of the story portrayed in a way that 'anyone' can read it without having read any of my prior parts, focusing on the magic of Halloween is done.

Here is the link! (992 words)

Just wondering, but can I alter my story? I already posted it but want to change a thing or two.

Go ahead, as long as it's not changing the entire thing, you can touch it up a bit til the deadline.

Are people allowed to scrap their entry in favor of a better idea as long as it is before deadline? If it is one entry per person and someone entered early and then later had a better idea and wanted to replace their old entry?

No, because then people might end up reading a few from the same participant.
Which would cause people to be annoyed by the sudden change in entries.

Course that rule is very weak, and mainly relies on the secret judges to decide whether or not the sudden change should be allowed.
We have 20 days til the closing of the contest, no need to rush your final entries.

We're actually using the White House Basement atm, it's surprisingly homey.
Np, all for clarity :D

Hm...6-7 entries, wonder how many there's going to be by the end.

I posted mine already because I wanted to participate. I don't care if I win, as long as we all had fun doing this.

I'm just waiting until Tuesday or something until I've had help looking over it. Nothing competitive, just wanting to make sure it's clear. Even though I'm able to edit my own work now, I still slip up at times.
Anyone want ta take look at my own comic?

The art's quite modest, but I'm told the story's fun.

I'm waiting til I decide if any of my previous short works are halloween-esque enough to fit or until I get possessed by evil spirits again.

But this time I expect to not run around the house screaming of evil monsters collecting souls for their dark master and instead to transcribe it somehow. Call it an evil spirit or just dark inspiration, I just know it helps with the process.

Don't I sound silly?

Idk Numa. Doesn't seem very Halloween to me. If you stick to this, I'll have to discuss it later, when I have more time.

The closest that Numa's entry gets to Halloween-themed IMO is the fact that it's a fan-fic future for GT. Tenshi's right, Numa. You may have to try a different entry. That being said, you shouldn't delete that post, since it's for your fan-fic and it sounds interesting. If you need another entry, post that in your new Lit thread and swap out the link to the posts here.
