I don't feel like asking to be gold... due to me not being around enough, ergo, I'll ruin the colour.

Yep. BR and them are still working on everything with it. Right now is pretty much a test run.

I think we should just make a thread in the section saying just that, since everyone can see it.

I'm playing Sly Cooper 3, and by god... Why does this feel much longer than the other two?

Never played any Sly Cooper game. I have no real reason for not playing them. It's not like I found them uninteresting, or anything like that. I'm just kind of hoping to run into one for very cheap, or something. Probably wouldn't play it regardless. I have way too many games to play and finish. But I don't play them. Quick games, like Third Strike and Tetris Attack and Puyo Pop Fever are what I play far more often. And perhaps far too often. I also don't really understand how Ibuki has an advantage over Alex, but whatever. I also find it odd how my best character in that game now is one I've only played, like, twelve times before this year. Either way, those three games are way too addicting. I play at least one of them once a day.

Anyway, are the Sly Cooper games any good? I've never really bothered to ask or look it up.

I liked them so far. The first one feels like Jak&Daxter with sneaking and thievery elements. You'll be in one central hub for a level, then you'll go into sub levels and after completing a few you move onto the second half of the level, then the boss. It goes like that for the rest of the game, but they do mix it up with minigames and good platforming. Then after you finish the game, you can get some ingame commentary that's really a joy to hear and time attacks that are hard as hell.

Second one TOTALLY changes everything. You have more of everything. Playable character, power ups, health, ways to get money, mini games, etc. And the main hub changes somewhat. You will play most missions on the field or in a minigame set away from everything unlike the first, and sneaking around is more necessary.

Sly 3 does the same as 2, but improves a couple things, yet takes out a couple things that I liked.

Best thing about them. I spent about 10-15 on each individual one. They were pretty cheap for such good games.

Hmmm. I don't think I noticed that post before now. Anyway...

I suppose I'll add that series to the list of games to get. I'm pretty sure the first two were on the PS2, so I'll be able to play them, but I'm not sure if the third one was as well. I could always look that up, but there's no real point in doing so, at the moment, since I want to play them in order. Not sure if playing them in chronological order really matters, but eh. I'm just assuming the games have some semblance of plot.

Also, went and got a couple more 3DS game. So far, I've only played Rhythm Thief, though. It's far too addicting. Music's pretty great too. Also got NMSB2. Have yet to try it.

Sly 3 is also on the PS2. Sly 4, coming out I think in February, is going to be the series' second PS3 title (if you don't count his Playstation Move Heroes appearance). The first being the HD re-release of the collection. Don't know the details about it though if they messed with it too much or made it better.

And playing them in order is best. There is indeed a story that expands from the first one.
