Sure, you don't need an online account to play on a 360. You can also get a free Silver account if you want basic online functions, but you need a payed Gold to play with other people.

I don't know all of them (since I've always been a Gold member), but you can download DLC, at the very least. There is a game and video marketplace, as well, that Silvers can access. Main thing to remember is that, without a Gold account, games can only be played locally.

Well then maybe in a few years time I may buy myself one. I don't play games that much so I am just worried I wouldn't use it that much.

Plenty to choose from, IMO.

You should. Although with the Xbox One coming out soon, the 360 is going to be extremely cheap and then disappear as the other console takes over.

Fun games on the 360.

With Gold, you can get into online multiplayer gaming, Netflix, and I think get access into using apps with the internet orto your Windows 8.1 system.

Some demos are actually Gold exclusive for a set time. But at times they completely forget to remove it so it stays that way for good.

Fucking Jontron... I love him so much.
And I love the fact that people were commenting about the 'Totenic' typo WHERE IN FACT IT WAS THE NAME OF THE GAME HE WAS PLAYING.
Ugh... he's awesome.

Yeah. I was worried at first. A lot of his videos at the start of season two (as he calls it) weren't that good.

Hey. Did you see the SGC panels? Jon was with ProJared, Angry Joe, the Completionist, Did you Know Gaming, PBG the lot. Even Hidden Block was there. The only people who were missing were the Grumps.

They're a good watch.

I thought his first videos from his 2nd season were great! I especially love the Goosebumps episodes.

I'll look into the videos! Love watching panels.
As I saw the creature, I was as white as an egg. I was so scared I might crack from fear. As the humanoid began to lunge after me, I was walking on egg shells from how scared I was. It grabbed me, took me to its station, and cracked me open. The last thing I saw were my yellow insides cooked on a pan. Human nature is as evil as a rotten egg.

Oh yeah that one was pretty good. But the Hercules and Conan ones were pretty bad.

I actually liked the Hercules episode, though the Conan one was not good.

@top gear tony: That Jontron was great. Thank you letting me know there was a new one.

I liked both the Hercules and Conan one.
By the way: There's a Harry Potter bootleg version of that "Titenic" game that's called Harry's legend.

I liked Doom 3. ID Software showed what they can do with Rage. (Impressive, but a meh game overall.) So I'm interested, but not wet.

No. Play the first and second one. If possible, get the PC version. And then run it on a source port.

Or cut out the middle man and pick up the BFG version for like £5. It's dirt cheap. I mean there's no faffing about with consoles*.... Next gen not withstanding.

Doom 3 BFG edition does have Doom 1 and 2 as well as 3 and it's DLC, so I think I'm good on not missing out.

Huh, it was the 2 year anniversary of Game Grumps.
Wow, has it been that long?

Haven't seen much of Steam Train but, what I've seen, it looks okay.
