I really dislike that guy

That's fine. I understand that he doesn't quite click for many other people, despite his freakish subscriber count. I enjoy his videos, personally.

Re: Everafter Talk Thread v2

It's not him per say. I'm fine with people earning money doing what they love and I have nothing against the guy. But I feel the same way about him as I do all solo let's players. I find them boring and bland as well as unfunny. You need someone to bounce off, that's why I like Game Grumps and the Super Bearded Bros.

Anyway, it's Pewdiepies bloody fan base. Literally 90% spoiled, unappeasable, rabbit little shits that can literally ruin another channel if they so please. And every time he comes up, I think of his fans and it just add apathy to the mix.

Yes, that would be youtube comments in general.

Totally, but most of them are un-organised single parties. These guys are like a hive mind, seek and destroy and what not.

That also could be /b/

I try not to get involved with "that" part of the internet.

Also, holy shit. I've just been talking about it and Game Grumps (Well Steam Train, but it's part of the Game Grumps brand) are playing The Stick of Truth. Awesome.

I really like the Yogscast. I like the dynamic they have

Yes I like the fact that they have pretty much 10 people on their channel network.

I always sort of wanted to do a "Let's Play" thing with my best friend forever, but... you know, there's already a "Two best friends" LP team.

Okay, I'd like to look into Ever After and the guy's DA. Links? Or am I just not looking hard enough? Sorry for the stupid questions, but this has intrigued my interest.

You didn,t look hard enough/at all. I don't know where you looked. There's links to his deviantart in two of the announcement threads.

Sorry, had a long day and was too exhausted to really look. I did find it now.
Edit: I read it now, and you said the guy was too sick to finish it, but some people said he kinda made an ending to it? Wanna fill this idiot in with some details?

So, anyone else enjoying the dominatrix known as Dark Souls 2?

Heck no. I'm enjoying the worlds of Diablo 3, Bravely Default and Monster Hunter 3 Ultimate.

I've been modding the shit out of half-life.

I really like Bravely Default. I'm not that far into it, but any game with a job system is good with me.

Although who ever was in charge of directing the voice acting should be shot.

I have Monster Hunter U3, but my friend who got it to play with me seemed to have fallen off the face of the earth so I haven't really played it much.

Although the directer of Dark Souls 2 is the one in charge of Monster Hunter. I can tell because your character drinks a healing potion like he's sampling wine, so it gives an enemy the perfect opportunity to sharpen their sword on your hip bone.

Diablo is just boring. Diablo 2, amazing. Diablo 3, meh.

I've also been playing black Mesa.

Diablo 3 WAS boring.
You know what they did with FF14 where it went from complete crap to an actually good game? That happened this month with D3 thanks to the expansion.

I'm almost done with Bravely Default and I kinda grinding the jobs. At least 12 outta 24 at max level with each character.
I like the voice acting where it just basically copies generic japanese crap, aka a lot of screaming and crying. Also like it when they're mad.

I got MH3U for my Wii U, what about you?

Slow reply hoo.

But yeah, I've got it for Wii U too. Although I don't much use the Wii U... sadly.

Re: Everafter Talk Thread v2

Thu Mar 20, 2014 12:37 pm

Heh, can't blame ya. I only have two games on it myself so I don't use mine much either.

Re: Everafter Talk Thread v2

Thu Mar 20, 2014 12:46 pm

The thing is, when I brought mine. The GAME store (It's actually called GAME) gave away like 4 games with it. Most are still sealed. So I can't really complain due to lack of options. But I also got a PS4 and that's way more bang for your buck. Super Mario 3D is good.

It actually spent more time playing Matroid Trilogy from the Wii than any Wii U game. Still the games it's does have are quality to say the least.

I tried to play metroid prime 2 on an emulator, only to be shocked by the fact that GameCube games require very powerful PCs to play properly. And as a result I have a very low framerate on my laptop, worsened by the fact the game plays in fucking slow-motion.

The Game Cube was a powerful piece of tech. It was the best of it's time. I mean look at Luigis Mansion with it's awesome shadow and lighting or Wind Waker which will continue to age well even after any Crytek game has run it's course.

I should dig out my cube.
