It use to be the section for EverAfter. Then many years ago, Blordy came in and took over the section and renovated it. At its high point in life, it was the unofficial general discussion section until Snafu was reorganized.

Now its more of a place to hang out. Almost like the DP Section, just not dead.

Should the DP talk thread be revived again?
The DP forum hasn't been active for a long while, so why not revive it again? Maybe I could create the new talk thread.

Leave it, DP is dead. It was made by those who are dead, and the dead keep it.

I vaguely remember that. Also, how'd you enjoy reading the old rp's? Hahah
"Suddenly Frodo noticed that a strange-looking weather-beaten man, sitting in the shadows near the wall, was also listening intently to the hobbit-talk. He had a tall tankard in front of him, and was smoking a long-stemmed pipe curiously carved. His legs were stretched out before him, showing high boots of supple leather that fitted him well, but had seen much wear and were now caked with mud. A travel-stained cloak of heavy dark-green cloth was drawn close about him, and in spite of the heat of the room he wore a hood that overshadowed his face; but the gleam of his eyes could be seen as he watched the hobbits."

It was extremely fun. There's a few pages straight of a single scene, and it transitioned into the next. I felt like others let certain scenes play out, even though it didn't directly affect them. It worked too, I believe due to so many people being active enough to wait on their time in the spotlight.

The page numbers got me on some though, since some pages were incredibly longer than others. Makes me want to make my posts longer, I feel like I'm wasting space on a page whenever I make a post less than 3 sentences.

I need to breathe when I type :p

Don't get drawn into the wall of text trap. Just because a post is long doesn't necessarily mean it does a better job of moving the scene forward. Sometimes it just means a lot of extra stuff that does not advance anything, text for the sake of text

That does tend to happen, I kinda do that too. Or I did at first.

So, Ryse Son of Rome turned out to be carp. Did anyone even expect anything else from the quick time even addled trailers?

I like a lode of things. I'm just more of a glass half empty rather than a glass half full kinda guy.

No, but people have been very pessimistic about this game. And I trust Dtoids opinion. Crytek aren't game makers, so much as they constantly make tech demo's. I wouldn't be surprised if people aren't moistening up their gams (yes G.A.M) for this one.
