Personally, I like Rainbow Factory better because I like RD over Pinkie Pie, which should tell you my problem with Cupcakes. But Cupcakes was pulled off very well in writing quality, and maintaining character status. It could legitimately work out.

Those two are probably my favorite MLP Grimdark stories. Also the two MLP fanfics I read first. Can't remember who mentioned them to me though.

EDIT: Hmm, I slipped up on that one, that's the second revised edition that I gave you, but there should be a link for the Original one at the bottom of the page. Slightly different ending.

Nah, I always get the impression that they try to hard, it doesn't flow, it's like Dead Space. It throws it in your face and expects the rest of the work to be done for it, yelling: "Are you scared now, you should be, GRAAA!!!" It just comes right around and starts being silly.

Oh, aright that works. I know who he is now. The one playing the arcade cabinet in the valentine like episode.

Yes, you are Button Mash.

Slight problem with you analogy, I haven't played Dead Space. I did hear the first was really good, but it just got worse as it went along. but I don't get that much exposure to horror elements of media or books, so these entertain me pretty well. I've been meaning to get some Stephen King books, because I've heard he's really good at it.

Ohh, on that note, Tom Clancy died on October First.

They are like Dead Space in the sense that it is all shock and no pacing. It just holds you down and goes straight for the jugular. Dead Space 2 was the best, but my most fond memories are dicking about with a friend in Dead Space 3. It's gameplay never change, it's "horror" (Which I use as loosely as humanly possible) got toned down. But it was never scary so there was no difference.

Tom Clancy died huh. That won't stop Ubisoft from cashing checks in his name. But now there is no one to write their paranoid, military circle jerk fiction (Says the guy who owns most of the books) any more. I hope this means less Ghost Recon and more Rayman.

Not really sure who actually is right behind BR in rank, but he'd be my vote at least. And with Pinkie... BR was going to be Pinkie in my head, but then... iuno. Both Celestia and Pinkie fit for him a little too well.

P.S. I swear Tuor that response with that Michael Myres icon is slightly terrifying.

Really? I thought that game was terrifying. I can not play horror shooters like dead space and resistance and FEAR. I waste an entire clip on the first thing to jump out at me and have nothing left to fight everything else.

The only horror game I really played was Slender. That game always seemed to scare the shit out of me.

imho, I think Celestia fits BR. That way you can have Molestia and Trollestia fit in perfectly.

Resistance, really?

As the guy above mentions Slender I'm not that scared of that either. He's just not scary, he's a tall white guy in a suit. No at all scary.

Now Condemned 2, holy shit that's the only game to make urine escape my pee pee.

On a side note. Have you guys heard the Rayman Legends Theme? It is bitching.

See, I feel more like a Pinkie Pie. However, the image of Cloud Chaser does look like something I'd go for.

I actually kind of found it funny. And no, I know you for being honest so that should answer your previous question regardless. On the other hand, after remembering who Cloud Chaser was (watching the episode she was in) I might take back what I said.

Edit: I forgot to mention who "she" was. Fix'd

Ponies and horror games. Two things I really enjoy. Not sure what conversation to join...
I'll try both.

For me lately there hasn't been a whole lot of good horror games released in a while with the exception of a few indie things like "Lone Survivor" Dead Space one and two where pretty good, but the third one is... meh.
I'm really looking forward to "The Evil Within" since not only is it a survival horror game but its also being directed by Shinji Mikami who has already proved his game developing chops.

And Rainbow Dash is my personal best pony.

You're all mad Rarity is best pony.

Evil within looks good, but that demo where the dude was being chased by that chainsaw bloke really cut down the subtlety

Saw some gifs about it on tumblr, but had no clue what it was until now. Seeing that Mikami worked on it though is a big selling point to me. And knowing he's fully aware of the disappointing route the horror genre has gone and wants to bring it back is a refreshing feeling.

Mr. Sefrol wrote:I'm not seeing the comparison of the two. To me the only Fluttershy we had here was Doctress, and she's gone off to do more important things... *sighs*

So then would BR be Celestia, Whatis be Cranky Doodle, Stuff be Rarity, Blordy be Luna, Thomas be Faust pony, The.Time.Lord be Big Mac, Tuor be Fancy Pants, Mir be Vinyl, Asmo be RD, Male be Derpy, Hiryu be Ms. Harshwinny, MadDoctor be Snips, Jasnth be Cloud Chaser, Dori be Applebloom, and Hiro be Sweetie Belle?

That's all I can think of.

YES. I AM HAPPY OF YOUR CHOOSING OF ME.

Heh. Dori.

Ponies. I think my list of the Main 6 I don't like are shorter. Like I have a hard time liking Pinkie Pie or Fluttershy. But I'm down with Rarity (clearly), Rainbow Dash, Applejack, and sometimes Twilight. Shes like the middle of likes and dislikes.
