Muramasa The Demon Blade is awesome. I have it on Wii then got the Vita version when it came out. Fantastic looking game.

Knowing the Vita version has 4 more characters, one being a nekomata, sort of makes me jealous. But then I don't plan on ever owning a Vita... There are plenty of games I'd like to play on it, but probably after it's lived its time I'll pick one up.

See, I was going to do that and get a PSP Go, but then I got a Vita because I know you have purchase PSP games and the new games so it has its worth. (Plus I got my Vita for 70 bucks but that's besides the point)

Plus the Dongan Ronpa games with come out on it.

I know that part, and- wait. 70...? 70?! WHAT!?!?!

Nope. PS Vitas are still, what, about or a little less than $200 most places?

Must have been some deal. :u

MY friend didn't want it so I took it off of his hands lol

Did the same with how I got my 360 and 3DS. The 360 for 60$ and the 3DS for 100$. Feels good to save.

I can't help but see myself as Sackboy in Little Big Planet though. They remind me of Kirby how they're really relaxed and happy and energetic. It's cute and mood lifting.

And here's me paying full whack for everything.

Apparently Wii's are only 50 dollars now.

Mine was I think 60-70. Got it about a month ago. So then the price dropped again?

I got the Wii the same year it came out. Paid around $350... wow. Well, at least I got Wii that has backwards compatible. Most new Wiis don't have it.

But c'mon, SSBB was one of the main reasons why almost all of us even got one..

I thought it did... I thought I saw they were 40 dollars on Gamestop. I swear I saw this somewhere before.

I was severely disappointed in Brawl. But yeah, I got a Wii for SSBB, Metroid Prime 3 and Other M.

Is your Wii able to play Gamecube games? Because, like I said:

Yes, mine is a backwards compatible Wii and I play Melee a lot at college

Re: Everafter Talk Thread v2

Mine is able to as well. And never knew the newest Wiis didn't have backwards compatibility... Why is this a running theme to eliminate backwards compatibility?

Good to hear.
I still buy Gamecube games and play it on the Wii since my Gamecube's disc reader is messed up. Still in great shape, just that fucking disc reader...

Because then people are forced to buy new games instead of sticking with the ones they have

For me it was Donkey Kong Country Returns. I actually bought the game months before I even had a Wii, lol.
SSBB was the other reason to get a Wii, though, yeah.

So then why did they just start doing it in the last few years? Why wasn't it a bad thing for the last two gens aside for the PS3 after initial sales?

Also, just looked up that the PS4 will actually have backwards compatibility with all other Playstation systems and their libraries, but only through online downloading I believe.

Because business tactics evolve?

Feels more like a setback to me. At least for the industry itself and maybe not on actual sales. But with the economy how it is over here, it'd be nice to have a console that'll let you play your old games like what Nintendo likes to do most of the time, and with Sony most of the time. It gives you some breathing room to justify owning a new system a little more knowing your old one might not last forever and when it goes you won't need to by a used one if you want to still play those games on a console.

Actual sales is what they care about, companies want to sell products, having it so that things rapidly become obsolete, makes people have to buy more products.
