Much like the "It's a secret to everyone" quote they use in almost every game.

Says not me. I'm still hung up on them reusing models for a lot of the non-main story characters.

The reusing models was necessary. It was a bet between the two guys behind the game to see if he could make a Zelda game within a year. You see after Oot, one guy wanted to make a multiplayer Zelda, while the other thought it was a dumb idea. So he challenged him to make a Zelda game within a year. If so, they'd scrap the multiplayer one.

It also fits the parallel universe theme too.

Worse, you could actually complete the water temple. I was never, to this day able to beat the Spirit Temple in that game. It makes the water temple look tame. Immortal enemies chasing you though out..... fuck that.

I know one. But he says he played it before OoT. Sooooooooooooooooooooo... Yeah.

And I just can't get over how much they reused from OoT. Heck, even the sign from Kakarico Village is used at the mock-Lon Lon ranch.

It was a bet, they had limited resources and it wasn't the only time they did that. They did it with Phantom Hourglass and Spirit Tracks, so get over it.

I have a deep hate for Majora's Mask. Personally, my Favorites are OoT, and Twilight Princess.

If we were discussing which Zelda games were the worst, I would agree with your statement.

The only Zelda game I've played was MM and I really liked it. What's with all the hate on MM Blood?

It wasn't that special, I honestly feel it's just nostalgia goggles that make you people think so highly of it.
Like I do with my genesis games.

I make a point to avoid nostalgia blindness. What MM dose better than any Zelda is storytelling and enforcing the feeling of being useless. The reality that you can't save everyone and that everyone will eventually die. It's almost Silent Hill like.

The major thing was the time limit. I hate games with a time limit.

I think MM pulled off the time limit well though, I think that's what made it so unique and interesting. The masks and the story telling, as well the theories formed from the game are all very interesting. Now the theories can't amount to much, but I do enjoy reading them. As for Tony's "Silent Hill" reference, I never thought about it like that, but I find that kind of unique and well used plot element.

DYK Luigi's Mansion originally had a time limit. When you 1st enter the mansion, luigi had an amount of time for saving Mario. Just wanted to... say that... yeah.

Um, anyway, I thought the time limit thing was a bit of a hassel. I had to do the Stone Tenple 3 TIMES because I A) Forgot to save, and B) Time ran out, or C) N64 turned off on me and didn't save.

Speaking of Luigi's mansion. It's one of my highest regarded games. It's amount of polish, even for a Nintendo game was insane.

I always thought Skyward Sword was the weakest Zelda.

I'm going to go out on a limb and say you watch Yuri of Wind. But yes, I know of this, I thiknk the time limit was 24 in game hours.

I don't really care who pulled what time limit better than someone else. I hate missions or games where you have to do "X" in a certain amount of time. Feels rushed. I play to relax, not to race the clock like I'm training for the Olympics.

And I usually feel the same way about video games, I play try to be relaxed. However never once did I feel "rushed" on Majora's Mask, simply because one could slow down time, and that there was a reverse time song, so you were never going to have a penalty of taking longer than 3 days. Also, the game wasn't a constant time crunch, there was a time constraint sure, but you were never on edge I think it's fair to say.
