Sweet. Spinoffs are still legit. And damn, everyone in that link butthurt that Starz is producing torchwood miracle day. Well BBC didn't seam to want to produce it and were dicking around on it. So if a different studio wants to take a shot at it, at least we have more torchwood.

Hmm. I thought the BBC and Starz were working together on this. And Russel T Davies is still heavily involved in the show. People who are going 'boohoo Torchwood's been Americanized it's shit now' are overracting.
Not to mention, that trailer was clearly tailored for the American audience. The british trailer would be different to that.

btw, thanks Hiryu for the comic <3

They are the setting is in the US because Starz is bankrolling it. BBC is airing it in the UK

Just thought I'd share this:

Linked for spoilers concerning Rory in series 5 and 6

Made me laugh.

I thought it was kind of weird how Rory was clinging to Jenny throughout the episode, even though it wasn't the real Jenny and she was going on and on about how she had the same memories and everything, but then it hit me: Rory went through the exact same thing being a nestene duplicate.

You think Rory would be a better fighter. I mean he has 2000 years of combat experience.

well history and general knowledge definitely, but The Tardis translates all known languages so it's not something that would come up.

Although it seams that Rory and the Doctor have a new found respect for each other because of the age thing, also Rory is older than the Doctor.

He did that too, but he was a roman soldier, and he guarded the pandorica, but it's still 2000 years of experience. He should at least be able to juggle. Hell stargate SG1 when they were trapped in the continuous time loop they picked up odd skills like juggling. Or hitting golf balls through the stargate to get a new record drive of several billion miles. You gotta do something to kill the time.

Even if he was trying to pretend it doesn't exist, there should still be some evidence of new skills and stuff.

Edit: Watching the new episode on BBCiplayer and I have to say...I'm hating Amy.

Oh now that would be good if her title was actually The Midwife and she was a Time Lady. Just been reading rumours for the upcoming episode and Oh My Fucking God I hope this one is true:    Jenny from The Doctor's Daughter is back in her sceond incarnation.
