I always wondered why Part 7 was a lot of peoples favorites but now that I started reading it I can understand why. The whole Horse race across the continent is super bitchin, and Johnny Joestar is a really great Protag

I really enjoy just how "out there" Jojo is. I really hope it's as self aware as I think it is.

I must admit, I prejudged Log Horizon. I'm really getting into it. The main character is an aright guy. Far from your throw away cut-out you keep seeing getting constantly re-used.

Dude it gets interesting later.

The beginning is such utter shit, though.

And that opening is awful.

I must disagree with everything you said. The beginning is what hooked me and I love the opening for how cheesy it is. I know it was done straight faced, but it's still eyerollingly dumb and I love it.

But I can't disagree with the later stuff I'm only on ep 5 since I watch it in rotation with everything else on my daily rotation.

I must say, for MMO characters they are really strong, if it were a real MMO it would be as unbalanced as shit. But at least it stayed true to one MMO staple. Monks are a waste of space.

And this is coming from a level 44 Dragoon in FF 14. One of the most OP classes in that game.

You know what I'm mad about with the Stardust Crusaders anime? We won't be getting to Egypt until next season. Which generally mean I have to wait even longer for my favorite chapters of Part 3: D'Arby the Gambler. :'(

Something I was always confused by was Egypt in shows. They go to the pyramids and they are completely deserted. The pyramids are never deserted, even at night. Transformers 2 did it the worst. During the final fight, Optimus punches Megatron through a wall and he ends up in some different ruins over 50 miles away.

So apparently Kirito    is a fucking jedi now   .

Also,    laughing coffin makes a re-appearance   . That was a good plot point though, I like it.

I think, kinda? I didn't finish the first series but I got the feeling since he met a lot of girls it is kind of harem-ish.

It's a self-insert power fantasy. So it covers everything.

Do you find it that in real life every girl you meet falls for you?
No?
Then it's a harem anime.
Even though he already chose only one girl for himself.

Still upset about the laser swords making the EXACT same sounds as lightsabers from SW.

Why does it feel like the plot of SAO was abandoned and picked up by bad fanfiction writers.

And why does that feel like it already happened halfway through season 1?

Well the leads of harems are usually too stupid to realise every girl they meet is falling in love with them so who knows, I could be the lead of a harem in real life and just not realise.

That was a joke.

I wonder if it's following the source material or it really is the people who work on the anime making it that bad.

I had heard that it was in fact following the source.
