So JoJo's Bizarre Adventure: Stardust Crusaders is getting a dub. & unlike the ova the dub doesn't sound like utter shit! My only problem with the news is that there seems to be nothing on whether or not the first series (containing Part 1 & 2) will get a dub or not.

NOPE.

Too late. Their hype period has risen and waned.

You can keep hoping, though.

Well it's like I'm getting the manga here in the states so why not just give me the 1st parts of the anime as well? Strangely though the blu-rays for season one have English sub's & work in region one era's...

I prefer Part 2 over Part 3. Young Joseph is just so charismatic and charming. While I adore Part 3 for different reasons I don't particularly like that it's become a villain of the week type of Anime, I will say that the villains are most certainly interesting and captivating but I just feel the pace of the story isn't as good as it was for Parts 1 and 2. And while I like stands a part of me still wishes Ripples were a thing. In any case I still think it's one of the greatest series ever made. It's use of muscular men that hold these poses that look fragile and smooth is amazing.

Also no anime will make me more cry over a characters death than Part 2 Jojo, Rest in Peace Caesar
Have you tried turn it off and on again?

Alright, so Crunchyroll just uploaded the new chapter of Koe No Katachi. The quality is far superior to that other one, and the dialogue made sense, lol.

That said,    I'm hedging my bets on Shouya having a seriously fucked up shoulder.

Also, I knew Ueno would react the way she did. And Shouko as well.

*SIGH*

This chapter really screwed me up. Because I can understand Ueno's rage. She's wrong for beating on Shouko, a defenseless and suicidal person. But her rage makes sense.

Nishiyama's mom stepping up to the plate with that apology really surprised me. In a way, it didn't, because regardless of her cold exterior, she's a bit of a teddy bear. I'm very interested in her.

Yuzuru calling her sister stupid was expected. She thinks that way.

Sahara finally stopped running away. Kawai's nowhere to be seen, Mashida is the same, though he might just be wandering. Nagatsuka (bless the dude's heart, probably the most undeserving of that whole incident) is there.

Back to Ueno, one of the most interesting parts of her dialogue is a single line,

"Without a single thought as to how we might feel, this idiot decided it would be the best course of action and firggin' jumped!"

I like the implication that she cares. Even though she's quite the angry, mean person, everyone's still a person.

Tenshi brought up the fact that they avoided showing Shouko's face. I agree that it made the whole affair even worse. Shouko's probably resigned to thinking that she deserves all suffering. This'll probably instill some hardcore survivor guilt.

Finally, Nishiyama's mother comes up with the biggest bitch slap of the year, lol. While I feel it was warranted, I feel uneasy on what the fallout is going to be like.

It's not just survivor's guilt, not doubt she'll blame her choice and her disability for what happened. :c

Look more like every cutscene in Call of Duty Black Ops... which indecently has a manga.

Call of Duty is getting a manga? I'm not sure how to feel about this, but I would like to read it when it comes out.

No, it was a thing two years ago. A collaboration with another anime series. I don't know what really became of it and it's hard as hell finding anything on it other than it's announcement.

Well,    messed-up arms making communication between Shouya and Shouko worse confirmed, for the most part. Just wondering right now how severe it is.

Also bleh with Ueno. Like...I understand why she's angry, but good grief...

Lol, I completely agree. I love that Shouko's mom has grown so much beyond her intial character. She's great.

I did. It's pretty great, huh?

The manga is 100% better. It kicks all kinds of ass.

EDIT: I can't even say that. The anime is on par with the manga, actually surpassing it in some aspects, but not in others.

Well, I just started to read Koe No Katachi after I've seen discussion here on it. Only read like 2 chapters so far (the one shot and the first chapter) and, well, I will continue to read it to see how it goes.
Also, how is Tokyo Ghoul? Any good?

Manga's awesome, and I'm happy to report that the anime is perfect, going on episode 1.

They nailed the tone, atmosphere, everything. While they cut out some parts and sped up others, some of the scenes and dialogue that they added are FUCKING GREAT.

I'm going to be so disappointed if they screw it up later.

EVEN THE DAMN MUSIC IS GOOD.

Yeah, but that first episode covered chapters 1-5.

The second one is supposed to be today, so expect a translation tomorrow or something.

EDIT: That whole intro, by the way, with the dude in the hockey mask, is entirely new. I know who the hockey mask guy is, he doesn't show up in the manga till somewhere around Chapter 60.

It still fit great, though, so I'm totally fine with it.

That's what I hope.

I have to say, though, that the only thing that bothers me about the anime is Touka in that final scene.

She doesn't force feed him. In fact, she starts out hating him, because he ends up saying something along the lines of, I'm not a monster like you. Then he sits for a few chapters starving more and more.

I'm curious as to how this is all gonna go down. If they characterize Touka right, like how she is in the manga (she is a fantastic character), I think you might like her, Stuff.
