The Claymore anime really falls apart at the second half. Not due to writing though. The animation just falls into flashing lights and stuff, it really betrays the first bits.

I guess the manga is less intrusive in this regard as it's monotone since it's a manga, but the art style never really sat well with me.

So after I saw what I already have I can either stop and leave it at that or keep reading and expect the rest to be a bad read?

The claymore manga is fine.

It does get to a point, I think around chapter 100, where things start to stagnate

But the mangaka is probably going to end it very soon. It's nearing 150 chapters.

No, the manga is still going.

By the way, if you saw me make a post, ignore it, I fucked up with a pm.

The manga has some problems at times, but I personally love it.

And it's much better than the anime, trust me.

Yeah, in places I felt like Claymore dragged on too much. But for some reason I never felt that way when I was buying volumes from the store. Only since I started reading it a chapter at a time. I honestly think if I had just stuck to reading the books I would still enjoy it. But the only problem with that is when you catch up with the books, waiting becomes really hard. And when your up to date with the scans, the prospect of stopping and waiting for it to be printed is agonising. In the most recent volume of claymore, they just    defeated the organisation.    I can't even remember how long ago I read that. But next volume is the volume with    Riful's daughter   . I was really enjoying it around that part so I was pretty annoyed when   they killed her off   . But I have been waiting for that volume for over six months now!

Has anyone else here seen Evangelion or Puella magi Madoka magica? The manga based on Evangelion is actually really good despite the fac that it was anime first. I think part of that is because the mangaka is also the head artist from the series. The manga based on Madoka is pretty meh and I can't really recommend it to anyone. But all the spinoffs I have read are really excellent. And the manga based on the movie is actually really good also. I think part of the problem is when you make Madoka into a manga, you take out both the music and the creepy artstyle, and those re two of the things that make it stand out.

Sorry mate. Panty and Stocking is kinda unique. It was designed with the intention of aping American comedy. There may be a few animes out there that could be considered similar but I doubt there's anything much like it.

He basically said he doesn't have any ideas, he would've told you if he've known.

On the other hand, kill la kill and gurren laggann is directed by the same people, I think. That's the closest I can suggest.

Relax, MD. I believe he is rephrasing the question to a more broad aspect of humor.

Something I found funny was Dragon Ball Z Abridged by TFS.

Ah Team Four Star. There Hellsing stuff is golden. Shame they only do one episode per Halloween.

I recently found TFS. I love their abridged series.
As I saw the creature, I was as white as an egg. I was so scared I might crack from fear. As the humanoid began to lunge after me, I was walking on egg shells from how scared I was. It grabbed me, took me to its station, and cracked me open. The last thing I saw were my yellow insides cooked on a pan. Human nature is as evil as a rotten egg.

Yeah, TFS abridged DBZ and Hellsing are even better than the real thing.

And I agree about the Kill la Kill, guren lagann thing. Though neither of them are really to my tastes. If you are looking for something similar to something else, do some research and find out who worked on that series, then look at what else they have worked on.

You could also check out a few of the series in this list. And, while I can't guarantee any of the series in this list being exactly the same (or even remotely similar (there are a few series in this list that make me question the validity of it quite a bit)), it might be worth a look anyway. It's admittedly a long list, but, who knows, you might find something that piques your interest here c:

This is a shame, but still when they come out they're golden. Still though, They also have the abridged Attack on Titan which is also pretty good.

Yeah, the sad part is that not much happens in Hellsing ultimate 5. At the end of 4 when Alucard said "I better not miss a thing", that was referencing the fact that he doesn't come back into it until episode 8. But boy when he comes back, he brings hell.

Dead Leaves. It almost perfectly matches up with PSG's humor in my opinion. It's a movie, though, so it won't take you long to get through.

Other than that, really nothing else. PSG is very unique, like Tony said.

Though I would agree with the suggestion of Kill la Kill. It might work to your tastes.

I just read about this. Why rehash something that was already good. Why not a P4 Arena anime instead, that would be way awesome. Plus it looks like it's trying to force some relationship with that new chick and the main guy, just because she's a P4 golden/new character.

You can tell that from a trailer that's a little over a minute with less than half of that being Yu and Marie? You're amazing.

If it's one thing anime isn't good at, it's being subtle. I mean anyone who's seen anime long enough can spot the warning signs.

Maybe I should just put the word: "Implied" here in big ass letters.

I think it's warranted if there does end up being a romance between the two. Dating isn't exactly a trivial part of either of the games and Narukami didn't have a romantic interest in the original anime. Not saying that it's a bad thing and I really hope that the romance (if it exists) is done well and isn't shoehorned in.

And I highly doubt it'll be a "rehash." I'm expecting a series of OVAs.

But why? Again P4 Arena would be a much better utilisation of the property. I mean now that the Persona IP has been found to be popular, especially P4, they may as well milk every possible asset from it.

Keep in mind you're talking about an IP with a dungeon exploration and dancing game both coming out.
