That's all that matters c:
"Suddenly Frodo noticed that a strange-looking weather-beaten man, sitting in the shadows near the wall, was also listening intently to the hobbit-talk. He had a tall tankard in front of him, and was smoking a long-stemmed pipe curiously carved. His legs were stretched out before him, showing high boots of supple leather that fitted him well, but had seen much wear and were now caked with mud. A travel-stained cloak of heavy dark-green cloth was drawn close about him, and in spite of the heat of the room he wore a hood that overshadowed his face; but the gleam of his eyes could be seen as he watched the hobbits."

Prepare to be irritated by KLK, not gonna say anything more than that, but once you realize it after about episode 4-5 or so you'll come to realize what im talking about

Okay, now, I was watching (haha, you guessed it) KLK episode 13 on Friday right, is no one disturbed by the fact that Satsuki's mother spent a full 10-12 seconds    FEELING UP HER BREASTS and it wasn't in a playful motherly manner either, that was some slow, drawn out intimate fondling right there,   and Satsuki reacted to it like    it was nothing, by proxy meaning her mother more than likely did stuff like that to her all the time(molestation D: ) and she was used to it   , and I shudder to thnk about    exactly what she may have done to her that she doesn't even flinch at being fondled in front of people.

Best Female and Male Anime characters? Cool! Can I start now?

Homura Akemi from Puella Magi Madoka Magika.
Image

She is confident, always keeps her calm seems like she could deal with absolutely any situation thrown at her and Not to mention she owns more guns than a 3rd world country. But none of these reasons are what makes her my pick for best character. I just really like how she goes from having no self confidence whatsoever and not really being any use to anyone to being someone who stays cool and in control no matter how desperate things seem. Even if this is not true all the time that is the impression she gives off and I really like stories about characters who realise that despite what little they think of themselves, they always had the potential to do something great. Is it possible to say that you can relate to a character despite only really wanting to relate to them

Image
Lelouch Vi Britania from Code Geass. He is scrawny, a slow runner and absolutely no use to anyone in a fist fight. He also proves that you don't need any of those things to be a badass. He does it on charisma and intelligence alone. Outmaneuvering anything that his enemy can throw in his direction and taking a hammy performance and running with it to the level of pure magnificent bastardry. While he does make numerous mistakes, he never lets them slow him down, he just re-evaluates and keeps moving forward. All of these things for me make him best male character.

Kyou Fujibayashi from Clannad.
Besides her altruistic nature, she's best girl in more ways than one. I feel she's the most realistic of all the girls, no super strength, and no extreme medical status to pity. Her OVA was the best episode imo, she was already my favorite before, but they saved the OVA as the final release for the series. Not to spoil too much, but that episode is still my favorite of the entire series, emotions and actions alike.

Image
Suzuha Amane from Steins;Gate.
It's difficult to avoid spoilers when talking about Steins;Gate, but Suzuha's arc is still the most emotional story I've seen. She's hard headed and focused, the one time she does something for herself, the results reflected her true feelings. Again, I must keep it as vague as possible, sorry, but she's still one of my favorites because of the series.

Yea...honestly, It'd probably be awful.
Given the amount of serious moments in the series, the voice actors would have to be above and beyond amazing, which comes rarely with dubs.

Not to mention all the accents that would go ignored. I feel confident that the core cast would get the best actors out there but beyond that, I am not confident.

Any one else have a choice for there best anime character?

Taichi Mashima (from Chihayafuru)

Image

Admittedly, in the beginning he wasn't exactly the best character. However, as the show goes on, you can see Taichi mature and come into his own. He's a hard worker, and this is especially true when it comes to Karuta. He...isn't exactly talented when it comes to Karuta, but that doesn't mean that he's horrible at it either. A true jack of all trades, master of none. Despite not having a particular skill that he believes to be the best, he still works hard towards his goal. He's also a bit of a tragic character because he is so close to the girl that he loves, but unwilling/unable to tell her how he feels. This is mostly due to his imposing some set of rules on himself with regard to what he should/shouldn't do. His self doubt is probably going to lead to him "losing" when it comes to this triangle. Though, this is one of the reasons I like his character. He comes off as a someone who is perfect, but is actually far from it. He's confident, but there are times where he isn't. He often requires a push/kick in the right direction.

Mutta Nanba (from Uchuu Kyoudai)

Image

I'm still behind on this show....But he's still one of my favorite characters. He's a 30 something year old character, who is attempting to become an astronaut. It was a dream that he once chased with his brother when they were younger, however he ultimately gave up on it. Believing it to be impossible for him   (part of this was due to the fear of having his younger brother jump ahead of him since his grades skyrocketed, while his remained the same(he had this thing about older brothers always being a step ahead of their younger brothers))   . However, after receiving a push from his brother (who is now an astronaut), he finally moves towards his dream. He's easily discouraged, and believes that he is destined to be unlucky. Despite that though, he still trudges forward. Other things that I like about him are his inner monologues and facial expressions. They're pretty hilarious and entertaining.

EDIT: @Mr. Sefrol I'm glad that I could help c: I meant to post sooner, but it kept slipping my mind, my bad

Mako is certainly Best Girl in KILL LA KILL, here me out for a second. In times of strife it was always Mako who gave Ryuuko the strength to battle on. Not to mention her family seems to have an endurance for pain. I mean how many Tennis Balls can you take to the face till you've had enough? Mako can take Dozens.

Also she singlehandedly ended a conflict that if it continued to go on for another 5 seconds would have fucked shit uuuuuup. Also come on, how can you not like that adorable face?
Have you tried turn it off and on again?

*Googles.*

...

Yes. I will watch this.

I will watch the f@#% out of this.

Anyway, what was I thinking about...Ah yes, Uchouten Kazoku.

I quite liked it. I was able to watch the whole thing in about 2 days. Very likable cast and art style I found.

Oh that, I started reading the manga after the name listed for volume 1 on Amazon caught my attention. Aside from that one misleading (be it the point) opining, it's funnier than it has any right to be. It's funny in a way that other Japanese media isn't. I also love the art.

I talked about this anime before, and... it's different. It does things I haven't seen in anime before to try. And it's wonderful for it all. Sadly, it makes me cringe a lot with how much I could relate to it or feel super bad for the main character than I can take at times. And that's a trait a lot of fans of the show feel. But then that's also something that drive away a lot of people from it too.

Overall, it's very interesting show. Especially that opening. Seriously, where else are you going to see that metal of a opening theme for a comedy series?
