Deep fried shrimp is good.

Re: The Food Thread.

I want to try them, but sweet things fried kinda put me off.

If you use fresh oil you should be okay.

I love you so much right now.

Thank you.
Especially honey-cured shrimp wrapped in potato.

Any shrimp is good. Shrimp is god's gift to man.

Re: The Food Thread.

Wed Dec 02, 2009 5:22 pm

Nah, god's gift to man is bacon. And garlic.

Bacon wrapped shrimp.

Re: The Food Thread.

Wed Dec 02, 2009 5:24 pm

Oohh... deep-fried?

Re: The Food Thread.

Wed Dec 02, 2009 5:29 pm

You could if you wanted Tragicom. LOL

Truth is, my friends and I made that, and when we did we had a whole party going on XD

@Stuff: There is no words or words to describe how it they were.

Yum! I do like pan fried foods too. And they're healthier.

Re: The Food Thread.

Wed Dec 02, 2009 5:42 pm

Really? I thought it was the opposite of healthy.

Re: The Food Thread.

Wed Dec 02, 2009 5:46 pm

Au contraire: Pan fried food has less oil than deep fried food, but the same amount of greasy, crunchy, fried deliciousness!!! Kinda, you lose a bit of the friedness because you aren't surrouned on all sides by oil, only the bottom.

On that note: Pan Fried Salmon slathered in a Garlic/Relish/Miracle Whip sauce = sent from God. You'd be surprised how well Garlic and Relish go together!! If only we could get real, sea caught salmon in the midwest... :(

Re: The Food Thread.

I havent tried the garlic thing. If I were to attempt to make it however, it'd probably be anything but a tasty salmon.

Re: The Food Thread.

Wed Dec 02, 2009 5:59 pm

Hello? You turn the food over to make the other side crunchy.
I'd try salmon with garlic butter, but not relish.

Re: The Food Thread.

Relish is okay.

Also, I can post the ceviche recipe whenever, I just have to find it, and the other recipes I'll have to wait until my mother decides to make them. Actually, tamales are easy to make, it's just time consuming, and I need to know the timing for when to do certain things before I post it.

Blah, relish. Yuck. I hate when they put that on hot dogs. Ketchup too. Mustard is for hot dogs. Ketchup hot dogs make me sick.

Re: The Food Thread.

Cheese and chilli

Re: The Food Thread.

Wed Dec 02, 2009 6:26 pm

Chips dipped in strawberry jam.
Now that's something you don't see everyday!

I'm about to go to Outback Steakhouse. I'll post pictures when I get back XD

I can do relish. Mustard yes. Ketchup on anything is a big no for me.

Sounds like something my friend would have made.

BBQ makes lots of foots mere pleasant to the taste, but I've never had it with bacon. Maybe it's time to try it.
