This forum without Blordy shall be a dark place indeed.

And blackheart, he might not come back... ='( I suppose it depends on whether he remembers this place, who is still here in 2 years time, and what he's doing with his life. And what Hiryu said.

Can't we just mock and bully any newb that appears in the bleed section?

A complete screening process with no chance of infection. We shall quarantine the bleed section, and newbs that attempt to spread their FILTHY FILTHY GERMS will be cleanly and effectively dealt with.

August - October 2010.

That is when the second coming will happen. I will fuck this place back into position so help me god.

Doctress Who wrote:I suppose it depends on whether he remembers this place, who is still here in 2 years time, and what he's doing with his life.

I've got a handy solution to that, which came to me recently. I'll carry a card in my wallet, or in my scriptures as a book marker. On this card I'll have my user name, password, and the site. That way I'll see it every time and remember. Plus you really can't call yourself "Blood Lord" or "Doctress" and forget about it.

As for the third one, I already know what is going to happen. I'm not going to be able to come back in time for the fall semester for college, so I'll have to wait a few months before registering for the spring semester at ISU or BYU-I for a History degree.

It's the second part that gives me considerable pause.

So I just downloaded 'TARDIS' and played it (because I forgot it came out the other day).

What the fuck? I can't even believe they called that a game. You couldn't even call that a 'mini' game, it was that short. And dead easy to complete.
At least the first two games, there was actually some skill involved. In this one, you just clicked on the right things and hey, you completed the game.
Nice novelty idea of being able to fly the Tardis, but other than that...that was a waste of 20 mins of my time.

Urgh.

Hurry up Christmas Special! D:

That's true.
Just as well it was a free download...but they're going to be charging people overseas for it. The only reason I got it for free is because I'm a 'tax-paying UK Citizen'.
:|

I mean, I fully commend the BBC for doing it...it was only an experimental thing after all, but they obviously needed some better game-testers. They knew all ages would be playing the game, but by the looks of it they only got a bunch of ten-year olds to test it. The games don't even have a difficulty setting.

A government funded Tv station.

I didn't know it was a government owned TV station/network. I'm American, we're unfortunately ignorant of these things.

Since funding shouldn't be a problem, I'd say they were just lazy about it, or didn't think about it too much. Still though, with how popular Dr Who is, its odd that they'd let it flunk like that.

Well over here, we have government owned Tv station/Radio stations, and government health care. Woo. Go us. Although we do get the best of both worlds, since there's always the privately owned stuff too (not you stuff).

Hmm. Well actually, you can tell a lot of effort went into it. I think they just didn't have the right connections.

Now had they got someone like, I dunno EA games on board or something, it would have probably been a great sucess. They had everything else just right...storyline, characters, fine. Even the graphics weren't too bad. It even surprisingly worked well, as a Tv episode-turned-videogame. It's just the actual gameplay itself that sucked.

That's a thing - being government funded is a fickle thing. On the one hand, it means they won't struggle with funding. On the other hand, they still only have a certain designated budget. They rely purely on government funding, no money from advertising or anything like that. So for them to get hold of any 'big' names in the gaming business is a real challenge from them.

That's one of the reasons why (another) Doctor Who movie is unlikely to be made. Not unless they sell it on to the filming industry. The BBC just don't have that kind of funding.

"Best of both worlds" can be highly debatable.

Did they design the first two as well?

And Doctress, the funniest thing just happened to me. Well two.

I think they were all designed by the same team, but I'll have to go back and look at the credits.

Well, not really all that funny. A House Marathon was on yesterday, and I just found another channel playing another one. And your Co-GM can't grasp the concept of sarcasm or teasing between two friends.

Yeah...
It's obvious to me what is going on, though. So obvious that it's painful to watch.
