It's called originality XD Deal with it. Personally, I'm glad for manic-pixie and, despite the fact Endling was pretty good at this, you can't only judge for sexyness, but also originality. I'm sure Endling is aware of this, is pretty glad for even participating and doesn't resent the final results. so..



Edit: I just want to clarify that I would be happy with every result. I just think that Kit deserved this. She stayed in context, remained in character, tried to look from the same Era as SDL. My opinion though. Endling was just as good, but Kit had that...I don't even know what to call it.

Wow, a person creates a wonderfully original character that is amusing and creative, and then people go and bitch about how she's 'a guy with boobs'. Bravo, you completely missed the point.

Congratulations to Endling for coming in 2nd, and to Manic Pixie for the winning. I would've picked Ree, but Kit looked pretty damn cool as well.

I think the problem is that he never seemed to actually be a serious competitor in it.

As in, "I'm doing it for the lulz".

Congrats to him though. It's not like Miss SDL had any rules regarding the importance of "Miss", heh.

While I'll admit the fact she looked like a dude was a small part of it, but I liked Endling's piece sooo much better.

But then again, I didn't really like any of the finalists' pieces except End's.

I'm not saying that pixie didn't deserve to win.. it's just that I expected the winner to have been a bit more.... aesthetic.

I really liked the winners entry. I just can never resist the manwhich joke. It's my favorite, no matter how bad it is.

I liked it because it totally drove me bonkers. I was all "Woah, dude. It was like my ideals suddenly turned around and slapped me hardcore in the face."

I liked the originality behind the idea, for sure, but I think I liked Endling's more art-wise. It was just really pretty.

I can't say that I hated Endling's entry. In fact, I loved it. It was gorgeous. But that entry sure had spunk. xD

Endling's too good for the rest of us artwise, so I figure it's better that things OTHER than art were considered. (Not that he doesn't have those other things either)

Okay seriously, no one should be bitching at anyone for not liking manic-pixie's character. Everyone likes different things, and to be quite honest, I never cared for the character. She(He?) did have good replies that stayed in character, which is nice, etc, but I never felt attached to the character. That's just my view. Stow all the hostility. People are going to be upset over it winning. It happens with any kind of contest. Deal with it. Plus, this IS an Endling forum (consisting of majority Endling fans). A lot of people were rooting for Endling.

Congratulations to manic-pixie, though. Put up a great fight and managed to pull through. And of course congrats to Endling for getting 2nd place.

Well, I totally didn't expect that. I was never much for old women. But when I read the answer to the question, I can see why manic won.

No fashion sense, but very unique. Still, quite a bit disappointed. I was rooting for Endling. Hard.

oh haha don't worry i'm not mad at anyone or anything. i'm just wondering what all the hostility is for, especially considering this is an Endling fan forum and people are acting like people aren't going to be rooting for Endling? They both did a good job, though. =]
