Hikari wrote:Hi-Hi! Welcome to another yet unexplored (I think) topic! I dare say the topic title explains pretty well the question. Which voice actors and seyuus remember you of the ever after characters?

I'll start:
Goldilocks- Mai Nakahara (forgot to mention, please if you can demonstrate how they remember you with a youtube video, do so)

http://youtube.com/watch?v=1JIWlUxKmQI (Has gore and child bad treatment)- Her voice for when she's normal and psycho;

And if you want to hear her traumatized, scared, calm voice, you'll have to see the series (The bus stop part where she talks to Shion about Oyashiro-sama is a higly recommended situation for her calm scared voice)

the voice is ok but the video that you showed us it kinda freaks me out a little girl doing killing spree's soo inocent at fist then (...) horrible thing happen ^_^ i like it!!

I've been wondering, since Endling created this comic himself, would he get all the rights and payments if a big tv station like CN or such wanted to animate his comic (he'd have to finish it first). I was just wondering since we're talking about Voice Actors and all that.

I think Endling need to spend some money before he can get copyrights or make Everafter a registered trademark.

But im not sure.

If he wanted to arrange for a cartoon to be made, he'd have to discuss with a representative from that animation company at length about how the rights to the series will be split. It'd depend on how stubborn he is on what rights he gets to keep, and how much CN wants the show.

Endling automatically has copyright over his EverAfter comic, though I think registering it and stuff makes it easier to take legal action or something. Don't know about trademarks.

But honestly, the first portion of EverAfter is so bloody. I can't imagine an American animation company considering animating it anytime soon. The cartoon industry here doesn't have a lot of room for mature titles, beyond dirty humour shows like Mission Hill or something, which are ugly.

I've noticed people in your country (Canada) make a lot of shows with moments you'd never find in American cartoons. But that's why I love it so much.

It's mostly because our studios can't compete directly against the American ones that dominate the market, so our studios are forced to fill out niche markets (or at least, the perceived niche markets).

Or so it seems to me, anyhow.

Haaaaaww!!! So much hair!

needed to do it...

I like the first one for goldi, but i don't think the second one fits well for a killing machine. Maybe it's a little too childish.

Off topic: what's the name of that anime?

Higurashi no naku koro ni: If you like psycho lolis and shotas killing each other and bathing in each other's blood, this is your kinda anime.

PS: You just say that because you didn't hear her serious voice. You can hear it towards the end of the amv.

I heard it in another amv (it was kind of shocking), but I still think that the "normal " voice wouldn't be good in "normal" conversations (at least for Red).

We still have to see her talking normally...I thought a normal conversation from Red would sound a lot like "RRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRAAAAAAAAAAARRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRGGGGGGGGGHHHHH!!!!"

The copyright issues for EA would be different than those in Grim or PPGD. All those fairy tales are public domain, after all.
Too good for you.

Maybe Red should have a really weak voice, but she doesn't talk much.
If you think about it, before the accident, she was a normal girl. Seemed even polite or shy. So... maybe.

When a ninja kills you, you never see him coming. Pirates, on the other hand, say "Arrr!", alerting you to their presence. Then they kill you anyway.
