Endling Artwork: Dumpty

Postby Keeper » Tue Aug 22, 2006 2:38 pm

Just curious as if anyone has seen Endling's newest addition to his scrap section. It's a artwork of the asylum's president, Chairman Dumpty. Truth to be told, I find Dumpty should be behind those asylum walls after seeing that manical smile on his face.

Also, I like the revamp of Dumpty's look. A small change of his look from as far as I've seen in the older Everafter pages. As always, Endling has yet to stop impressing me with that grand fairy tale creepiness.

Creepy, yes. Though, I suppose when you're around freaky folks in that asylum it starts to catch on.

I would consider his mind to be full of dark thoughts, humorous ones, and probably a bit of reality to mix things up. Ha ha.

That's amazing, really.

Having recently acquired the poster for EverAfter (<3 Dave) I really must say I really like the guy's drawing style.

Especially the girls. So many of them just scream adorable to me. XD

It's come to me that Endling wants to provide a large amount of artistic beauty to his fans and watchers on DA. Because seeing this in scraps makes me a bit confused as why he would do that. I definitely find Endling to be one of those artists who don't smack something down on a piece of paper and upload it. He's sure the diligent artist.

I'm pretty sure he's supposed to be scary, and I'm betting his living quarters on the top floor will probably have alot to do with him somewhere in the story.

I don't think Red would be scared of anything after her slashing binge in the prologue.

makes me think what McFarlane toys could have done with their Humpty Dumpty figure if they hadent put all of their time in tol the girls in that series like they ussually do.

Chairman Dumpty has such a cool look that I hope that his character is up to snuff. Endling seems to be very good at creating non obtuse, yet "deep"(in the sense that the reader has no trouble empathising with or analyzing the motives of the characters), so I assume Dumpty will be just as loveably evil as Red, Hansel, etc.

I don't think Red is evil, just a wayward child with a bad past.

If endling were to color that picture, I hope Humpty brushes those large choppers of his. I don't really think Humpty Dumpty is going to be a big threat to Red. He just has a lot of body guards and a cat who thinks he's Zorro, what can Humpty do to harm Red? Unless there's really a buff body behind that suit of his.

he probably is somewhat like the Penguin in batman(not the Penguin in the old batman movie though, that was hillariously god aweful.) The Penguin can seduce you to the dark side, or stab you with his poisoned umbrella in the back.

He does also have the ninja cat to help him. The ninja cat will either get wtfpwnd right away or hang on for ages like that one Nazi leightenant in Hellsing.
