Tokyopop Interview

Postby RaeEsmerelda » Thu Aug 10, 2006 7:28 pm

In case anybody's interested (and doesn't check DA), there's an interview with Shaun (Endling) up on Tokyopop. There's a few of the new pages on there too. No dialogue, and they're not totally finished, but you can definitely see the style change from the prologue.

So it was the wolves that drove her crazy.
I wonder what PETA has to say about that.

the wolves would eat PETA!!....after Red had cut them up into suitable bite-sized chunks....how much does he make at his day job I wonder? cause if EA is published, you KNOW he's gonna be livin a better life....I hope (how much of a profit do manga artists get?)

They dont look real to me. They got that fiery etheral apearance usually used in dream sequences.
So, either Red is remembering her grandma´s murder or she is having one of those metaphorical dreams where all those wolves represent her fear and hate for The Wolf.

The first seems unlikely unless The Wolf has fiery wolf mininions.

Well what I am seeing from the second page of the comic in the interview it seems like Red was chained to the ground to be bait for the wolves, she was scared as they were gaining up on her and so her "demonic" side appears and she murders them?

Well.. I.. Um. I Had a thought there but I can't remember. Strangely enough though being as that those comic pages are not finished yet.. I will never know until the finished pages are indeed finished. I was just going by what I was seeing.

Sometimes I do not like to be wrong, but I will make this time an acception.

Don't worry. Those scenes are actually quite early in the comic. You won't have to wait all THAT long, if Endling keeps production and release rolling after the Prologue is complete, that is.
