Been playing it lately. I know it's rather ancient now, since it was for the N64, but I just recently acquired it from Amazon.com.

Really fun game, though it can be utterly MADDENING at times.

Anyone else play it?

Fix'd. Seriously, PD's only downfall (Now) is its graphics. And it isn't even that bad. PD's gameplay whoops the shit out of 99% of games.

EDIT: Anyone that thinks it sucks because it's "old" or has "shitty graphics" isn't a gamer, therefore their opinion doesn't count in the realm of video-games.

And they should die. In a fire.

Goldeneye (Not the new GoldenEye) is a video game for the Nintendo 64 based on the James Bond movie Goldeneye. It was the best shooter on any console when it was released and still remains one of the best.

Despite its old graphics it still remains one of the most fun games. The only console shooter, in my opinion, that is better than it is Perfect Dark. Once it was announced PD was the "spiritual sequal" to Goldeneye and it was being made by Rare (Same creators) expectations were very, very high. And it did not disappoint.

Goldeneye and Perfect Dark are still, to this day, used by many real gamers (As in, not "I PLAYED TEH HALO! WAT A 64?" gamer) to measure new games.

Graphics be damned, you just can't beat the fun factor and gameplay.

PD is a good game, I agree. I still play it every once in awhile, but now I'm busy playing RPG's and Zelda..... PD's awsome!
