What would you guys say to a fan-generated website not at Snafu-comics.com but at its own .com address. Say like www.everafter.com or www.everafter-asylum.com or something along those lines.

The idea's struck me last night that it could have things like
-The story of the comic. (the story so far)
-Character/Cast profiles (who are they, where they came from etc and by from i mean which nursery ryhme)
-A Small profile on Endling/Shaun & A Link to his DA page
-Fan-fics
-Fan Art
-Own Forum (which could include RPG of Everafter and other stuff)
-Fan Listing
-Links (obviously two going to the Snafu-Comics site, and Shaun's DA Site) as well as others.

And anything else we can come up with...

Lets see how long this thread will live....

That's a great idea, but I think it should wait until Endling gets a little further into the story...it's too soon right now, maybe after the new chaper is up or something...

I Agree. The Only Problem is I am no way experianced enough to make a whole fan website myself. The best I can do is www.geocities.com/nightbreedhome which is a Vampire Clan for an RPG and my own character profile site.

You're forgetting the costs of domain registration, hosting costs and hosting maintenence.

This is expensive stuff. Not including (Perhaps) paying for someone to design the site, presuming someone won't do it for free.

I really don't have any resources, im only shooting an arrow through the dark to acutally figure out if it would be possible and if anyone would want a fansite.

For some reason I didn't remember this until now, but Endling DOES have plans to get his own website for his Comic Series eventually.

You'd probably be wasting time, energy and resources making your own fansite, especially this early into the game.

I suggest just waiting patiently until that time Ali. And until then, just make use of this forum.

Well Like Stellos said Endling DOES have plans to get his own website for his Comic Series eventually, so whats the point now? I guess now all we can do is suggest to him through this thread what can be done to it?

You're right it was a great idea, until factors came in such has who would design it and if so for how much money and how much money would be needed for hosting at a .com address and hosting matience and etc and if I was to do it, which I can't how would I have the money to do what is required.

So lets leave the technicals to the experts and Endling, but feel free to suggest what can be done within this thread?

Like maybe if he does have his own website on his Everafter comic he could not just include that but his others.

Freewebs are really annoying. real websites are too expensive. I think it would be best to stay here. But if any of you would create a website for it then I would check it out.
