Everafter's Correct Spelling

Postby Stellos~Core » Fri Jul 14, 2006 9:09 pm

Please don't take this as a "YOU'RE ALL WRONG" thread.

I'd just like to point out to everyone, that Endling's comic is spelled "Everafter". There is no space, and the "a" is not capitalized.

Got this info straight from Endling himself.

Man I'm excited for the next installment!
"Suddenly Frodo noticed that a strange-looking weather-beaten man, sitting in the shadows near the wall, was also listening intently to the hobbit-talk. He had a tall tankard in front of him, and was smoking a long-stemmed pipe curiously carved. His legs were stretched out before him, showing high boots of supple leather that fitted him well, but had seen much wear and were now caked with mud. A travel-stained cloak of heavy dark-green cloth was drawn close about him, and in spite of the heat of the room he wore a hood that overshadowed his face; but the gleam of his eyes could be seen as he watched the hobbits."

Actually, it still doesn't make a difference

A good comic is a good comic...unless it is commercialised

yeah, it's true. He's making a play on the endings of fairytales "happilyever after". Plus, since it's the name of the asylum, it's one word. "Everafter"

Ah thanks for that. I was a bit confused since I see it spelled differently all the time. Like this forum.

Not to start a discussion, but isnt there a reason it becomes comercialised?

yeah, either because it's for profit, or because it's uber-awesome and people want other people to know about it!....it should be pretty obvious which Everafter would be. Hell, why ISN'T it commercialized?!

Because is just an experimental work? Because Endling has more important stuff to do than risking everything in a webcomic only people in the internet have heard about? Because he likes pie?

No one's paying him to do Everafter. He's doing it completely of his own will.

I dont think ObsessiveSketch is talking about EA, but more about Endling´s works for Broken Doll Studios.

No, I say it's Ever After. I'm right, Endling's wrong :)
