Hardly think being harsh qualifies as being evil...but everyone has their own options on what is and isn't stupid. You think it's stupid, others thing it's downright funny.

....Everafter is an awesome comic, can't wait to see more of it. Not only are the characters well developed (for as much as we've seen of them so far) but the artwork is amazing with bloody action...who doesn't like bloody action.....

Considering I've always regarded Endling as one of those rare species with a sense of humor, I've always been quite happy with the lines he's given his characters;;; Especially his rather over-reactive shrieky ones :'D *waves at Seth*
I don't see how blood+gore+insanity cannot meld with humor...and thus become 'stupid lines' ;; I really don't;; I couldn't help but think the comic would end up very boring indeed if the dialogue turned out to be too serious;;

And while I'm at it, there hasn't been THAT much humor to begin with in the prologue, so now I really don't see where you're going at all ._.;;

Anyway, can't wait to see the newer panels X3~ His old stuff is great but his new stuff is just...gahhh X3~~

I found whrer Dr. Crooked came from, its from a poem called There Was a Crooked Man, it goes like this:

There was a crooked man,
And he walked a crooked mile.
He found a crooked sixpence,
Beside a crooked stile;
He bought a crooked cat,
Which caught a crooked mouse,
And they all lived together,
In a little crooked house.

Looks like he ate the cat and got a psicology degree and then got a job.

Unless *gasp* could it be? That the cat is puss in boots? That might explain why he is working in everafter (the assylum).

I know puss in boots came from his own story(which im not very sure how it goes but i think it did involve a prince and an ogre, like in shrek 2) , Im just sugesting a way in which Dr. Crooked´s story and Puss´s story merged into what we see now.

I can't see how The Crooked man would be 2nd in command. He was a pretty minor character. He's not so much a fairy tale, more a nursery rhyme.

SPOILERS AHEAD, if you havent read the full pages in devart and dont want to read it dont highlight:
[spoiler] Mother goose (if my memory serves) is the one that owns the assylum, prez humpty must be second in command or just in carge of the administration. But if humpty is the absolute head of the assylum, then who is this/these you-know-who that he talks about in the end of the prolouge? Could it be Mother Goose, or the gentlemen on the "possible opening for chapter one" work on his devart page?

In any case, if Dr. Crooked is not second in command then he still must have some high enough position to command the soldiers and nurses (as seen on the last page) and to acompany prez humpty in every activity (shareholder? partner? secretary? almighty butler ala walter from hellsing?)[/spoiler]

uhhhhhhh....perhaps. Their expressions I think are a bit more.....expressive...than most mangas. Plus he doesn't cel shade very much at all
