So yeah, anyone besides me and Dave watching it? I know that Jay used to, but I don't know if he still does.

Anyways, "Black Cat" is a Shounen Anime(same genre as Bleach and Naruto) based on a famous Manga, about a group of bounty hunters and an ex-killer being caught in the fight between two mysterious organizations, called "Chronos" and "Tao".

The characters have unique and interesting personalities. The atmosphere switches from light-hearted, to grim and gloomy quite often. And the Music(sountrack) is very good in my opinion.

If anyone is interested, and wants to check it out, you can get fansubbed episodes via Bittorrent here: http://www.bakakozou.com/news.php and here: http://oyasumi.leechanime.com/torrents.php

It would be nice to discuss it with other Snafu's. Since discussing Bleach as the only Anime in here, gets a little bit boring. And we need a replacement for Naruto until the fillers finally end.

I watched the first 2 episodes back when it came out, and it didn't really interest me, it just seemed kind of... eh. Nothing original.

One show I'm currently watching this anime season is Mushishi. It's an episodic anime about a man who helps people with problems pertaining to mushi, a type of spirit. The storytelling and art style of this series is awesome, I really recommend it. It's not for everyone though, there's little action and very few major characters. Because of the episodic nature of the series, I suggest downloading episodes 1 (to learn) and 4 (best episode) first. I should also mention that the music is also fantastic.

I didn't like the first two episodes either, but it gets a lot better after those.

I keep saying I'll watch this one, but then never get around to it.
Once one of the current things I'm watching ends (which probably won't be for a few months, at earliest >_>), I'm probably gonna check it out...
Looks pretty interesting though.

I've watched both Blood+ and Black Cat up to episode 7. Blood+ is undoubtibly awesome. Black Cat looked really stupid to me at first, like those retarded-silly animes, but so far it's ended up being pretty good, so I'll keep watching it.

Are these subs put up around the same time as Naruto and Bleach? It's nice to know what day of the week to look for new episodes.

Bakakozou releases the episodes pretty randomly. And I discovered Oyasumi-Subs, and Shinsen-Subs(Blood+) two days ago, so don't know when they release the episodes yet. Sorry.

P.S. Glad you liked Blood+. ^_^

Blood+ was another anime that I downloaded a few episodes of when it first came out. It definitely isn't my cup of tea, the story and characters didn't interest me at all, and I didn't really like the art style either. The only anime that I enjoyed that started this fall season was Mushishi. You guys should check that one out as well.

The Black Cat anime isn't based on the manga.

It isn't. The manga is significantly different, despite having similar characters and having a few premises in common, such as the girl playing the "demon" game, (Japanese name for tag.) and Creed being gay for Train.

Blood+ is cool as well. I prefer it to most popular Shonen shows today.

Nope, but I know the gist of the plot. And I know the heroine of Blood+ is the heroine of Blood, except amnesiac.

Kazuo, thanks for the anime. Mushishi rocks. It's a tad slow, but so freaking awesome.
